Hilton Head waitlist Easter

Hi-

I have a 2 BR at HH booked from 4/8-4/12. I have been on the waitlist for the night of 4/12 (Easter Monday) since October, but it has not come through yet.

I want to extend our vacation by one day (but not two) if possible, either at the start or end. If I also go on the waitlist for 4/7, my only fear is that both days will come through at the same time, and since I'll be using borrowed points, I'll be stuck. Any advice? Can I have MS automatically book one day only and then take the other day off of the waitlist?

Sorry I'm so confused, but this is my first time ever on the waitlist.

We'll be down at HH the same time as you are-we have a 2BR from 4/7 - 4/13- I have a cash night for one of the nights (Saturday) because the points were outrageous- is that an option for you? MS will link the ressies so that you don't have to move rooms.

I would call MS and find out about them only taking the night you want on the waitlist- I don't see why they wouldn't.
