Hilton Head tips/thoughts

I have a question.....

What about groceries? Is there a general store on property or must we find it off site somewhere?

And what about flights? What airport would you suggest flying into? Would it be Charleston maybe?

Oh... Another question.......

I always wanted to visit Savannah, but I am not sure it is appropriate w/ 2 small children. I know the tours are not for them..... how about the restaurants? Should I bag Savannah until they are older, or are there some things I can do w/ 2 little ones in tow? And a DH. Ha Ha.

Savannah is the best airport. The HH airport is small and tends to be expensive. The store doesn't have as much as the ones at WDW but they have some basic items. I can't imagine not having a car at HH and there are plenty or grocery stores nearby. Personally, I'd recommend one not go if they were not going to have a car.

Good to know Dean! Thank you. I have heard that before about needing a car and was hoping to rent one seeing as I am from PA and that would be a heck of a drive for us who have no time for transportation, not less vacationing..... Hopefully the airports provide rentals.
