Hilton Head reservations

We just came back from Hilton Head and loved it. Now I now why people rave about the resort. We found it so relaxing and the staff were so accomodating. Does any one know if it is difficult getting reservations at the 7 month window? We would be interested in late May early June and then again around Christmas to bring the family together. We would love to try to get a grand villa. For my husband and I we would be interested in the off season is it easy to get in there then? Have talked about getting an add on if it is too difficult to get into this resort. Thanks, Candace

May is quite do-able. We have been successful in June & early July.

I would think about 2 weeks before until 1 week after Christmas is unlikely.

The times when HH is most difficult to reserve at 7 months are from mid-June - mid-August. Spring break and Thanksgiving also usually fill up well, but other times will usually find availability especially if you are flexible with dates or type of villa. There are 5 GVs (they are wonderful! ) and only 21 Studios and 1BRs. All the rest (76) are dedicated 2BR villas - and these are the easiest to reserve throughout the year.

Thanks for your response I guess we will try the 7 month option for the family get together. I highly recommend Hilton Head for a great family vacation for relaxation.
