Hilton Head in October? Temps?

Hi all!

What is HHI like in October? DH and I are thinking about sending my dad there on his honeymoon in the beginning of the month and I was wondering what kind of weather they could expect?

almost perfect weather for golf. I have swam in ocean and pool in Oct. and have been just fine, and other times been very cold. (but still swam) but in all, it is a fantastic time to go.

I'm sure it is usually great weather at that time, but ..... we made our first visit early October last year (still hurricane season) and had a tropical storm and lots of rain during our 5-day stay. It was quite warm though
