hi All!
We are going to visit HH resort in November and would love any suggestions! It's probably going to be a little cool for the beach and none of us are golfers. Are there any great restuarants or sites not to be missed? Is there some outdoor nature preserve?
Thanks so much! Feel free to email as well

I haven't read every post so excuse me in advance if I'm recommending the same as others.
We went in November a couple of years back and while cool, we had a great time.
I got to play golf twice (at Hilton Head National and Golden Bear). Both are nice courses and have discounts available (check-in material had info on this). I would have loved to play at Harbour Town but way too expensive for me.
We did go down to Sea Pines though to check out Harbour Town, do some window shopping and hit the Salty Dog for a t-shirt. Growing up on Cape Cod (where we have the Black Dog t-shirts) I couldn't resist it.
There are a couple of good restaurants right across the marina from the resort too. I can't remember the names but the Italian one was quite good. Lots of shops there too.
Our son loved the planned activities (nightly campfire w/ ghost stories, a magician one night, roasting s'mores, "fish painting" which I can't explain you just have to see it, and the bedtime story in the main hall with warm cookies and milk were all great).
One of our best days we had was spending a day in Savannah GA. About 1 1/2 hours or less if I remember correctly by car. We did the sightseeing bus with on/off priviliges all day. Great bars, restaurants and people. We loved the Pirate House.
It was a very quiet time to visit overall. We came back relaxed and refreshed. Have a great time!
