Is March a good time to visit Hilton Head? Any input or experiences would be great! Thank you!:goodvibes

It can be very nice. The temperature is warming and lots of plants are beginning to bloom. Plus it's usually not too crowded.

As in lots of off-season months, our experience has been that the weather can be very variable (although I'm sure SusieBea's been in HHI many more March's than we have). Once the weather was nice and sunny, mid-70s, great for biking and miniature golf. But the other time we went it was cloudy, lots of rain/drizzle and wind. I don't think the weather got above the low 60s, and it felt alot colder. But on the up side, lots of warm apple cider and the fireplace was going in Big Murgie's Den. And they still had cranberry nut cookies in the afternoon, so the trip was definitely worth it.

This is most certainly true! It's a variable time of year there. My favorite times are October and November and March and April.

We have been to Hilton Head several times during March break.
It has been mild to warm for the most part, certainly a lot nicer than home in Canada.

Called MS today and was able to get HHI for my son's spring break!! We are so excited to be going for 6 days in March:goodvibes

I don't live very far from HH and that time of the year is very hit or miss. I would say you have a greater chance of it being at least in the mid to upper 60s or low 70s, then it being colder. There's so much to do on the island even if it is a bit cold and savannah is a quick 45 min drive. Have a good time!
