We visited the Hilton Head DVC in October a couple of years ago and loved it. At the time we had very warm weather and were able to go to the beach and use the pools.
I'm visiting family in NC during Presidents week and was debating a quick trip for a couple of days to Hilton Head. Can anyone please tell me your experiences during this time. How warm was the weather (I know its not warm enough for the beach) and were there enough things to do during this time of year? It will be will just be myself, DH and DS (3) and possible my mom. We can get a decent rate through AAA for a studio but I'm not sure I want to spend the money if we won't have much outside time.

Thanks so much for your help!

We went to HH in February in 2004. The weather was miserable the week we were there, but I heard it was sunny and warm the week before. It figures! It was cold (never above 50 degrees), rainy, windy, horrible weather. Did we have fun? Yes, but we went in March the next year! Everything was up and actively operating, all the resturaunts, etc. the week we were there.
