Alright, so we decided to use 40 points to have a non-Disney vacation on Presidents Week. The World would be entirely too busy for two people who just need to relax. So while I doubt there are many, who has been to Hilton Head, in February?

What should we expect? Any ideas?

We've been to HH in February. The weather all week was miserable-rainy, windy, cold. Yet, I heard that the week before we got there was all sunny and warm. I think the points are the same for February and March, so we go in March now to increase our chances of getting nice weather. But it was still a great vacation (but IMHO, anytime at HH is a great vacation). I spent lots of time in Big Murgie's Den, reading, so yes, it's very restful. One morning, DH was just sitting there watching ESPN. I suggested we do something, but he said he was. "This is my vacation-I'm getting to do the things I can't when I work, like watch ESPN at 10:00am." So if that level of excitement's OK with you, you'll have a great time.

We went for the February school break 2-3 years ago and had fabulous weather! It was in the high 70's/low 80's all week. We went on the dolphin excursion in shorts and t-shirts and it was beautiful. I guess we were lucky, but I've known others to have good luck, too. HHI is beautiful at any rate.

If you have any in roads to II through friends or similar, you might get a 1 or even 2 BR for a full week for the value of 40 points OR a similar week on the Beach at one of the top Marriott's.

We have gone to HH in Feb. for the past 5 years. We love it! Sometimes the weather has been rainy, but other times it's been great. We had a wonderful time no matter what the weather. It's very relaxing, but there's also plenty to do. Have a great time!

We spent President's Day at HH just last year. I think we had the wonderful weather Simba'a Mom was speaking of. We were able to sit by the pool in the afternoons, eat outside at a few places, and really enjoy much of what HH has to offer. We went with another couple and DH went golfing one morning. The crowds were very low, yet everything still semed to be open. I believe the resort was very full but you would never know it. The day we left, it was 80 degrees.

hhmmm--what else-we had a wonderful dinner at Old Oyster House and a fun outdoor lunch at the Salty Dog. We spent time shopping. It was a very relaxing trip. If I didn't love the heat and ocean so much, I wouldn't mind going again this time of the year. (I am always cold and LOVE hot weather)

Let me know if you have any other questions,
Karen

Remember, HH is Disney and you will get that same feel from the staff and the resort. Just not the parks, which the parks can somtimes be too much.
