Hilton Head in April

What is the likelihood of getting a 2br at Hh 7mos out at the end of April? We were thinking the week of April 20th 2009 to be exact. Has anyone stayed there during April? Could we hope for good weather? It has to better than NH in April!

We've been to HH in April a few times. The weather really can run from one extreme to the other. We've had cold/rainy/windy weather (not much better than New England in April) and beautiful/warm/sunny weather in April. Even with the colder weather, though, we still had a fantastic time!

Thank you CraftyMouse for your reply. I have faith we also will have fun regardless of the weather but I know we would have more fun if it were sunny and warm.

Is there any fishing from the shore? My son loves to fish and will go any chance he gets.

My kids had a ball fishing off the pier at the resort this past June. They were catching 12-18" sharks! They had a ball & can't wait to go back & fish some more.

We booked a 2BR at Hilton Head today at 7-months out for March 29 - April 3 (Sunday - Friday). It will be our first stay.

Good luck with getting in. She said today for those dates that we could've have 2BR or 1BR.

We go to HH at least twice a year. April can be tricky with weather. The good thing is that they have a ton of activities you can sign up for each day, inside and out. Be sure to check out the list they give you when you check in. They have great craft activities for kids, tours of the resort, fishing, games night, dolphin watching, etc. Have fun! We love it!
