We love this resort..so much so, that after 4 visits we added on points at HHI to get the 11 month window for summer. Very relaxing resort..accomodations are large and very nice with a fishing lodge motif. Main pool is nice and there are lots of daily activities at the community hall for adults and kids. The beach house is great and the beach goes on for miles..great to walk or bike on. We were there once in April and it was warm enough to sit on the beach, but not swim in the ocean..pool at both areas are heated. Lots of great restaurants and shopping-some nice ones right at shelter cove that you can walk to. We like Scott's Fish Market, Old oyster House, Guisseppe's pizza and take out, Hilton Head Diner for breakfast 24/7..too many others to list. It is a beautiful area and if you get building 29-31 you can have a great view of the inlet into Shelter cove and we have seen dolphins while having coffeon our porch. You will have a great time. Also, if you golf, you will be in heaven.
