Hilton head 1 bedroom ?'s

We booked HH in May - a one bedroom. Are those mainly in the lodge, or is there a chance we can get an outside building? We've only ever stayed in 2 bedroom there and enjoy being in one of the outer building.

Also, if they're in the lodge only- do they still have picnic tables and rockers?

Sorry to ask crazy questions- we're trying to decide if we should just bite the bullet and book a two bedroom while they're still available (DVC cash rate).

We've stayed in lots of different 1 BRs at HHI. Yes, most are in the main lodge or the attached building 12. There are only 5 others, one each in buildings 18,19,28,30, and 16 I think. But those 5 have a villa above them and can be pretty noisy from footsteps overhead.

Our 1BR in the main lodge had a picnic table and rockers on the deck. Would have preferred an outer building, like you, but it really wasn't bad being in the main lodge. Still had a marsh view, and easy walk to the pool.

Thank you to the both of your for your help. We're just going to stick with our 1 bedroom. We've been so spoiled by points that to pay the cash rate for a 2 bedroom is crazy!
