Looking for others' experiences with HGV, especially, but not only, if you are an owner.
not an owner - loved it
beautiful resort. my problem with iir was --- used to Disney. A child got lost and ended up at my door - well called front desk (since security was not on the phone) - and front desk shocked me.
they say just leave the kid outside.... someone would find him....
with as many sexual predictors that are in Orlando - would think that all the hotels would provide protection for kids - they don't.
so opened my door and stayed with the child until his brother showed up (took the family a good 20 minutes to realize he was gone)
so be carefully of your children here.
There are actually 3 HGVCs in orlando, not one. They are:
Seaworld
International drive
Parc Soleil
We've stayed at the Seaworld location once and Parc Soleil, their newest, a number of times. Parc Soleil is the best Timeshare resort in Orlando IMHO. We are going back again in 2014. Here is my review:

Great resorts, huge, we much prefer over the Disney resorts.
Which resort was this at?
I'm an owner and have stayed at all 3 Orlando resorts multiple times. Have also stayed at the Vegas and South beach resorts. I love HGVC. Used to own DVC but dumped it since I can trade into DVC using my HGVC points if I want to which I usually don't because I much prefer the HGVC resorts to the Disney resorts.
And we just found a roach in our new room (in a different building!). If these go home with us in our stuff I will be soooooooooo mad. Good thing we are checking out today!
the other thing did not like was no lifeguard at the pool. but that it like most timeshares.
only Disney seems to have lifeguards at their pools.
There has always been a lifeuard at the HGVCs I have stayed at and I have stayed there many more times then once.
