Hilton Grand Vacation Club or Sheraton Vistana Villages?

help! I can get a one bedroom villa for either place for same price with Entertainment card - both sound really nice. Which one would you choose? We are staying close to Discovery Cove for first 2 nights before moving to WDW property. It will be me, my son 12 and my other two sisters. THANKS!

Both of these resorts are nice. My family loves the Hilton Grand. The pool area is great and they offer family movie nights. The rooms are really top notch.

HGVC is very close to Discovery Cove, more so than the Vistana. We haven't stayed there but we recently stayed at Cypress Harbour which is a bordering property and thought the HGVC looked beautiful. It also has one of the highest ratings on the TUG board (timeshare users group).

We have stayed at the Vistana and we really enjoyed it. There are, however, several older sections. I think I'd choice HGVC for the overall quality of the property and it's proximity to Discovery Cove and Sea World (which I'm sure you know you'll get 7 days free admission to with your Discovery Cove addmission).

I wasn't aware that any of these resorts participated in the the Entertainment discount program. What is the going rate with the Entertainment Card?

I think jdm is getting the Vistana resort and the Vistana Villages mixed up. The Vistana Villages is only a little over 2 years old while the Vistana Resort is something like 20 years old. My family and I stayed at the Villages this past March, very nice resort, beautifully landscaped. This resort is close to Sea World, something like 2 miles away and Disney is like 5 miles away. I don't have any info on the Hilton, though I'm sure this is a very nice place too. have a great vacation!!

Absolutely right, I read the post quickly and did mistake the Villages for the Vistana resort. I have never stayed at the Vistana Villages but did some research on it. Beautiful, fairly new resort. i don' think you could go wrong with either choice.

I have stayed at both and I would choose Vistana Villages. Smaller, more lux and closer to WDW.
