I expect I shouldnt ask this question but could I book a double room for 2 adults and 1 child (I can get rate of £99 + taxes) and 'sneak' in my other child - I'm assuming hotel is quite busy and wouldn't notice - I know its naughty but cant see how it would matter for one night!

Also is the Hilton conveniently I think you can walk to it from terminal and we dont have a car!

Thanks

The Hilton is literally 2 minutes walk from the South terminal through a covered walkway - very convenient!

We stayed here last year it was a lovely start to the holiday we asked for 3 hot choclates for room service, they brought us 2 carafes of the stuff and a bowl of biscuits. They are pricey, as a burger was going to cost us £8.99 and breakfast was £15.99 ahead.
As for the other child, go on you only live once :rotfl2:

Thanks, I think I'll give it a try think it might be more convenient than getting a shuttle to a cheaper hotel!

I shouldn't admit this but we did it with our 2 year old. We wanted a family room for 4 and they only had triples. So we took our blow up bed, we were taking it on holiday anyway, and she slept on that. It is very busy and only one person has to go up and check in. I know there are limits on rooms for fire regulations, but the hotel should have more family rooms and a decent price.

I must admit that I did not even think of doing this after we were told no family rooms available for the night we want to stay! so at the moment we have boked a travel lodge butwill discuss with DH for 1 night the convenience of staying at the Hilton would be far better for us. Are the tripple rooms a king bed and a single if so you could easily squeeze 3 in the king as the main bed in the family room we had last year was enourmous!

we have done this but not in the hilton.
there are 5 of us and we could only get a room for 4 so we top and tailed our girls so that ds had the other bed..

snookhams - I think it was kingsize and a single. We had plenty of room and when you park the car outside dH and Ds's waited in the car until I checked in. I did feel a bit parnanoid and insisted that we walked through the lobby in pairs, just in case!
