Hilton Garden Inn

We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn on Harbor and want to know if anyone else has every stayed there. We are supposed to have a fridge and microwave in our room but I want to know if I will be able to keep food for my family in the fridge. We stayed at GCH once and there was only room for a couple juice boxes because it was stuffed with things they want you to buy! Any advice on this hotel?? Also how was using the ART bus from the Hilton??

We stayed there about a year ago and I honestly don't really remember much about the fridge, but I don't recall it being "stuffed" with their items-maybe some water bottles. We actually had booked through GetAwayToday and had complimentary breakfast included, so we really didn't need to keep breakfast items in it, and we ate lunch/dinner at the parks.

We didn't have any complaints about the hotel itself. There was one bus stop for the ART right in front of the Embassy suites that all 3 Hilton hotels shared, so it was crowded and we had some long waits. We had 3 young kids and found it more convenient to drive to the park ourselves.

We are leaving for a 6-night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn tomorrow. I'll give a report when we return.

We won't be using the ART. But I do know the ART stop is in front of the Embassy Suites next door to the HGI. We are a group of 7 people, so we have a car rental and plan to drive into the DL lots everyday.

I have stayed there a few times. The fridge is empty, so you can stuff your own food in there. I have never been to a HGI that had products for sale in the fridge. Also, there might be a bottle of water next to the coffee machine. These cost about $5 if you use it.

A quick trip to the fitness room can get you some chilled and filtered water if you have your own water bottle.
