Hilton Garden Inn/Seaworld...

Hi, we are driving to Fl over X-mas holidays and will be stopping for 2 nights in Orlando. We love SW, but have never stayed at this hotel. Can you really walk to SW from it? Has anyone been there recently? The suites are all booked up for our days so we will be in a reg room, but that's o.k. for 2 nights. Is the pool nice or basic? Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, you can walk. I've never stayed there so I don't know about the pool, but it's a fairly new hotel and looks nice when I drive by. Plus they're building a new Hilton Garden Inn at the north end of I-drive opening in December.

It will take you about 5 minutes to walk from your hotel to the Renaissance. And from there it takes another 5 minutes to walk thru the SWF parking lot to the gate.

If you want, you could drive to the Renaissance, and park in their lot on the side of the resort. I do it all the time and noone will mess with your car. That would save you some walking. And then you can go in and check out the Renassance, it's a really cool resort, and they have good rates on holidays.

Thanks for the help...I did check into the Rennaissance, but they were double the 89 rate we have for the HGI, so I guess we will stay with that.
