Hi everyone -
We stayed at Hilton in 2007, back when you got a wristband to attend evening EMH. In order to get a wristband, you showed your Hilton room key to the CM. We had a rough time..apparently a number of CM's don't know about the Hilton EMH privileges, and the CM's had to ask a few of their associates before we received our wristbands. (even then, I think the CM was skeptical!) Its understandable...after all, the Hilton room key at the time was just a solid blue card that said 'Hilton' on it. Nothing to identify it as Disney-worthy!
I've heard that the new evening EMH system is to show your KTTW to the ride attendant to gain admission to the line. Does anyone know if Hilton has made any kinds of changes to their process to make the room keys more "EMH-Friendly"? I can just imagine trying to explain the Hilton EMH policy at every attraction and then wait for someone's approval....over and over again. Kinda takes the magic out of the EMH.
Has anyone had recent experience with this?
