Hilton Downtown Disney on Last Minute Travel

Just a guess... but based on the pictures shown, one of which is a lobby picture showing the front desk with fish aquariums behind it, I would say it's the $112 avg. price one. I'd hate for you to pick it on my guess though! I've stayed at the DTD Hilton many times and the pictures all look more familiar than the others.

I would go to Hilton's webpage. Currently they are showing best price on a King room at $109 (before all the tax, etc. etc.).

Thanks for the help. That was the one I was thinking it was, because of the bedding. I wasn't sure though, & didn't want to take a chance. Hilton's booking engine was down for me. :confused3 I'll try it again. I'd rather book directly with the hotel, if the price is comparable.

Did you use the shuttle bus, when you stayed there? If so, how many stops did the bus make, before going to the parks? Did the buses go to more than one park on each trip? Thanks again :)

:thumbsup2 I believe the pp was correct! We just stayed there in Oct. and the pics look like it. The other thing? The description says 7 restaurants, 10 floors, check on Hilton's website, but pretty sure that's what it says. We paid $72 for 2 rooms for LMT and were very pleased! HTH's!

I'd love to be able to get the rates you all have been getting at Hilton LBV & Hilton Bonnet Creek on LMT, but I haven't seen anything close to those rates. What time of year did you go, & how far out did you book? Every date I've checked has been over $100 for both hotels. The prices weren't better than the official site. I wonder if LMT's rates have gone up this year, or if I'm just looking at the wrong dates.

Click on Book it and the hotel id should be 883 for Hilton Disney. Look for it in your web address. You don't actually have to book this to see it. Orange type throws on the beds in photos. We stayed for $76 with AAA rate thru hilton in Oct. As we are plat. honors we were upgraded to a suite. It is a very nice hotel for anything under $100. Rooms are a bit dated, especially bathrooms but it is very close to everything.

Thanks for the tip. :) I'd love to find it for less than $100. I'm not expecting it to be as nice as the Hilton Bonnet Creek, but we're hoping for better transportation. Do you think it's about average for a Hilton or isn't it as nice? As long as it's nice/clean/furniture isn't ragged, & we have dining options in the hotel, we'll be happy.

I'm sorry I have not used the shuttle. We generally stay on the Saturday night before checking into DVC because I can't stand using my points for a Saturday stay!

The DTD Hilton is always clean, and the bedding is great. The one time I needed a facilities agent to fix something they were there within minutes and made sure I was happy with the repair (sink was clogged) before they left. The walk to DTD is quick and safe.

I have not had issues with cleanliness at the Hilton, we had one complaint on one visit and it was very promptly resolved. Seems to be well run, has one of the best valet services we have used. Beds are just okay for us.

I would place the facilities themselves slightly below large city Hilton's but the staff, valet and location for the price make up for it. Other than the concierge/business level breakfast everyday we did not use any restaurants. Also we always rent or have a car so I cannot comment on shuttle service. HTH.

Shuttle service is okay, but is shared with at least two other DTD hotels and not as frequent as WDW buses. If I remember right, the routes were MK/AK, and Epcot/HS. Sometimes we go to the bus stop at DTD and hop a bus to a resort near a park (like the BW bus to Epcot or the CR bus for MK).

Thanks for the hotel reviews & shuttle info. It's very helpful. The hotel doesn't sound as nice as Hilton Bonnet Creek, but the bus service sounds better.

We haven't booked anything yet. It just occurred to me that I hadn't considered other DTD hotels. I may check those out, before booking. We won't use EMH anyway. I was thinking Hilton, because they're usually nice. I'll have to see if there's an equally nice hotel in that area to consider. Thanks again to all of you for your help. I really appreciate it. :thanks:

ETA: I looked at other DTD hotels. It looks like the Hilton is the best option for the price.
