Is the Hilton Anaheim really within walking distance of the Parks for adults? If so, how long would it take? If anyone has stayed there, what are your thoughts? Thanks.

I stayed at the Hilton Anaheim last December. It's two blocks away from the entrance to the park. You could walk if you want, but I prefer the shuttle. After a long day at Disneyland I can't imagine anyone wanting to walk back. :earboy2:

Many many moons ago, we stayed at the Hilton and walked to the park one day. It wasn't too bad if you don't mind walking. The next day, we walked back to the hotel after a day at the park. They must have moved the hotel that day, because the walk back to the hotel was much longer.

I'd save your feet and take the shuttle. If you're ambitious you MIGHT be able to walk about 1/2 way and catch a tram from the smallish parking lot near DCA.

We didn't find it far at all. It's about a 5 minute walk to the parking lot where you can pick up the tram.

I like the walk at the beginning and end of the day. It's a nice walk and if you want, you can take the tram from the Disney lot and that cuts the walk in half.

I will never use the Anaheim Resort Transit system, especially in the summer as there isn't a marked line for boarding and people come up at all times and think they can get on in front of you.

Try the walk and see if you enjoy it.

I have heard that the trick here is to go out the back and hop on the Disney tram from the parking lot. I am going to check this out when we are there in June for future reference!

That's exactly what we do and it's very easy. The walk to the tram is about 5 minutes and the tram ride is probably 1-2 minutes. In our experience the parking lot has never been very busy so there is always space on the tram. We wouldn't do it any other way.
