Thanks so much! Def make a few ADRs, it's hard for me b/c we've never really done that before, but after going in May and seeing how hard it is to get into restaurants, it really is important if you want to be able to stop and have a nice meal. Good luck!

Thanks! I'm VERY happy with the way everything is coming together. And I KNOW, it's crazy close!! And, I actually made DF watch Toy Story with me on Sunday afternoon! haha. I told him we have to watch at least one Disney movie every weekend until we go. He said ok, I just have to watch Star Wars with him...I've never seen it. So, I said ok I can do that. haha.







Ok so yesterday we went and picked out tuxes. I was planning on doing the wine vests and ties for the 3 groomsmen, 4 ushers, and then my dad (DF's dad is also his best man). But, when we looked, I just wasn't crazy about it. I know that's what most people do but it just looked like a prom tux to me and DF. So we saw a mannequin that had the wine colored tie with just a black vest, and I really liked that better. It's not as much color obviously, but I think it's enough. So that's what we decided. And then for DF he will just have all white vest, tie, shirt. I really liked the ivory but it was REALLY ivory, and even though my dress is called ivory, it's more towards white and I'm afraid it will be off. The guy said that most bridal salons say that unless your dress is really almost cream, that you should just do white b/c the color is closer. So I don't have any pictures, I can't find any that looks like it but hopefully that describes it well.

Today I am going for my hair trial, I'm kinda nervous. I'm VERY picky about my hair, and this is a new person doing it. My regular stylist is going to to be out of town the weekend of my wedding so I had to find someone else. A few people reccomended this girl, and she does wedding hair alot so we'll see. I want it mostly down and in long spiral curls, so we'll see what she can do. I'll try to remember to take pictures!!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! We didn't do too much, we carved a pumpkin and watched GhostHunters Live in Sci-fi. Big fun. We are throwing a party Saturday night though, it's my 25th bday and our late Halloween party so that will be fun, we're just celebrating late!

Anyway, I was playing around with my favors tonight, the tags came in the mail today so I was excited to finally have it all together. I just made a sample one...

I'm sooo happy with the way it turned out. The colors go together perfectly and I love the tags. So pretty. I put two hershey kisses in there too, just for some more color and it takes up more room, which is good. I love the personalized m&m's but they aren't cheap and I really don't want to run out of them. My mom/aunt/cousin are throwing me a bridesmaid luncheon/shower next Saturday, and we are talking about working on these and the sparkler packs that day. So that will be fun. And then my other shower is the very next day. So it will be a busy, fun weekend! I'm addicted to checking my registry seeing what has come off! And we're already getting TONS of RSVPs back, I think we're up to about 30 people, and thats just within a week. So I'm pumped. 5 weeks from Saturday! SO soon!

And I went on Tuesday for my hair trial, which went really great! I completely forgot to take pictures, dangit...I was in a hurry trying to meet DF when he got off work and I didn't want him to see it so I pulled it all down and midway through I remembered I hadn't taken a picture. But I love the way she did it, she curled it all over, I already have naturally VERY curly hair but its more permy looking, small curls, and I want it long spiral curls...it kinda looked like this...

Pulled back but kinda poofy on top. It was bigger than I'm used to but she said it will fall some so it needs to start out big. I kinda want it a little more like this...

Not quite so high, and pulled back more on the sides.

I forgot to take pictures though, but she said to bring them next time and she can do it differently. But it looked great and that's one less thing to worry about!




Thats all I really got for now. I did order personalized napkins yesterday, and a crinoline slip for my dress. I don't want anything too big, and my dress already has a decent sized crinoline sewn in, so they told me I don't need much more or it will be way too poofy. But I really want to dye it light pink so I just ordered the a line slip which should be perfect. Things are coming together! I prob won't be around much this weekend with the party and all, so I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!

Hi ladies! I just wanted to update real quick, since I have been MIA lately!!!

I feel so out of it, I haven't been able to keep up and stay updated with all the PJs and TR's I am subscribed to! But, my laptop DIED last week, so I have no computer and I'm just having to use DF's when I can, doing schoolwork and stuff either here or at school. So I haven't been able to get on and keep up with things, or keep my own updated!

Just a quick update, I had both of my showers this past weekend, one with my family/bridesmaids on Saturday and then Sunday was the ladies from the church. Lots and lots of fun, and we got a TON of stuff. holy crap. ANNNND, we finished my favor boxes and sparkler packs on Saturday, everyone pitched in and we had a blast doing them. So that is taken care of. Wednesday is our last premaritcal counseling and we are going to work on the ceremony, and right afterwards we are meeting with the organist to get music picked out. OY, its all coming so quickly! I'm down to less than a month, that is CRAZY!!

It's all pretty much done, I have to get my dress altered and all, and we are waiting for the last bridesmaid dress to come in. And pretty much everything else is taken care of. I am planning on dying my crinoline sometime this week, I'm not sure if I'm going to wear it though. My dress really doesn't need it, I'm afraid its going to be too poofy and uncomfortable. But I REALLY want to have the pink underneath. We'll see. Oh and our engagement announcement will be in the paper this weekend so I'm excited for that.

I feel so bad I can't get on here and update, but hopefully DF will have my computer fixed soon. I have taken pictures of everything I've gotten done, so I will share those as soon as I can! I will be here tommorow all day, working on homework on DF's computer so maybe if I have time I can update more. It's hard to do it when he's here because he stays in here in the office, reading over my should/talking to me and I can't do anything. But luckily he's in the bed, but I'm about to head home so this is all you get for now! I'm trying to play catchup with alot of you, sorry for being a slacker!

So it looks like my laptop may be done for. DF can't figure it out, but he hasn't given up yet. So I'm just making do, using his when I can, since I'm over here at the apt pretty much every day, although it's usually just working on school stuff and keeping caught up with that.

I do have a few cool updates, today we had our LAST pre-marital counseling at the church, which was mainly just meeting with the preacher and he went over the whole ceremony, gave us a packet which basically was everything written out so we'd be familiar with it. So now we know how it will go and what exactly we'll be saying. Then we met with the organist to pick out our music for the ceremony. I knew I didn't want the typical stuff, I'm just not a fan of "Here Comes the Bride" and the Wedding march recessional. I was kinda leaning towards "Trumpet Voluntary" for the bridal processional, so he played that and then "Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring" by Bach, but I really liked the Trumpet Voluntary better. So we're going with that. And I already knew I wanted Canon in D for the bridesmaids. So then it was just picking out the recessional music. He played the traditional, and neither DF or I liked it at all. He played a few other things, nothing stood out. But then it popped into my head to ask about something more Christmasy, to make it unique, and he started playing Joy to the World. And I LOVED it. They have this big pipe organ and everything sounds beautiful on it. So that's what we decided. I'm so excited, I love that we're getting to add in another little holiday touch. So now I can start working on the programs, all except for figuring out the soloist but we're working on that. So it's all coming together. Crazy that 3 weeks from Saturday this will all be happening. ahh!

So thats all I got for now. I may be over here tommorow working on stuff and I may try to get some pictures uploaded because I have a ton of stuff to show, just not sure exactly how to do it on his computer. We'll see.

I used not quite the whole package of the RIT Rose Pink powder. And then when I washed it we added a tiny bit of bleach which did help lighten it more. I wanted it a pale pink to match the sash in my BM dresses, but its just maybe a shade darker, but I'm still thrilled with it!! so YAY!

Thanks for reading ladies!!! I'm trying to hurry and get off the computer so I will respond to you all later. But I'm so glad you guys are still reading, even though I NEVER update anymore. Not having a computer SUCKS, I'm using DF's when I can but its hard. Plus just being busy, 2 weeks left of school, I finish 2 days before the wedding. argh.

The dress drama is finally over...they never got the other dress in, they kept telling us it was coming, "def by this day", and thenit wouldnt be there, and then they 'd say the same thing again the next week, etc. Well they told us they would be open this week, just Mon-Wed. I called Tuesday to check on the dress, she said it wasnt there but she would call and check, and then call me RIGHT back. She never called. So Wednesday morning we go to just get the other one b/c I'm obvoiusly running out of time, and they were CLOSED. How bout they lied about being open? So we called Melanie, the lady that had been helping us. She had given us her cell phone awhile back for something, so my mom called and wasn't very nice. She ended up meeting us up there to give me the dress, so we could take it to their alterations lady. So we did, and she made me feel alot better, said I have plenty of time and she can def. get it done. It has to be let out a little bit in the back, b/c the corset back doesn't lay flat, and then taken in a little in the top. She's doing that first, I have to go tommorow at 2 to make sure that its right, and then she's going to do the hemming part, but prob not much b/c I'm wearing heels. So PHEW, thats over. I really loved the dress alot more when I put it on again the other day, It's a gorgeous dress and I wish now I hadn't stressed myself out so much.

I'm also working on getting the programs finalized...I found a girl to sing, we were stressing about that, b/c we don't know anyone. But I just have to get with her again on what she's going to sing, and if she needs accompaniment.

Oh and I don't think I ever updated after our meeting with the organist when we picked out our music for the ceremony. I'm not super traditional when it comes to the ceremony music, and didn't want the standard stuff. So, for the wedding party we're doing "Canon in D", and then "Trumpet Voluntary" for me, and then for the recessional, "Joy to the World". I'm SO excited about that. It sounds beatiful on the organ, and it's so upbeat and unique. So yay.

And really that's about it. Everything else is done, I am planning on going this week to MAC and getting a makeover and buying makeup to do my own for the wedding. I think I will be alot more relaxed that way, and feel less stressed trying to get to a bunch of different places.

I got my hair done this week, trimmed and highlighted and I'm very happy with it. The same girl that is doing my hair for the wedding did it, this is just the 2nd time I've been to her, other than my hair trial, but she did a great job. Its not too much, and not too blonde. I love it.

I'm getting really excited...its coming SO SO quick. 2 weeks. crazy. And I'm SO SO SOOOO ready for Disney. We've gotten all our documents in the mail, and I have our trip itinerary/folder ready to go. We're planning on starting packing some next weekend, and going to get water, snacks, etc to pack with us. I cannot WAIT!

And my bachelorette party is tommorow night! I'm super excited. I think we are just going out to dinner, and then maybe to a bar or club for a few drinks, and then they rented a hotel suite, and we are just going to go back there and hang out, watch movies, drink wine, and relax. Perfect. I'm over bar hopping all night and staying out late. Just not my thing anymore. Andy is having his brother and one of his best friends over to hang out and drink beer so it's turning out to be a great weekend. Today is our 2 year dating anniversary and we've decorated our apartment, put up our Christmas tree, and fixed homeade pizza for dinner. Awesome weekend.

Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm going to TRY to update more since it's coming SO FAST, but not having a computer sucks. boo.

Ok, since I haven't updated good at all in awhile, I have good news! I finally figured out how to get my pictures onto DF's computer, so I have lots to show!!!

I'm at 11 days!!!! Holy moly. I'm SO super excited, SO ready to be married, and SOOOOO ready for DISNEY!!!!! We are going to run errands Friday b/c DF is off, and I'm planning on stocking up on bottled water, breakfast stuff, toiletries, etc...Disney shopping is always fun!! I WANT a new pair of Crocs, but I doubt I'll get them. anyway.

Pretty much everything is DONE, just have to have final meetings with vendors, and get my programs done. I'm going to try my dress one last time on Friday morning, and pick that up. YAY. I LOVE my dress now, after seeing it altered to actually fit me, I fell in love with it. So things couldn't be better right now...well they would if my soloist would call me so we could finalize that, but whatever.

It's so beautiful, BUT, I won't be wearing it. My dress actually has a good bit of crinoline built in, so it's pretty poofy already. And adding more is just too much for me. And you can kinda see the wrinkles underneath, and its not very comfortable, so its out. It turned out so beautiful though, I'm going to hang onto it and maybe one of my girlfriends will wear it one day.

And now my honeymoon stuff!

And my bachelorette party was this past Saturday night. SO much fun. We went out to Olive Garden to eat (and drink!), and then to a local country club to dance all night. Then we stayed the night in a hotel suite my girls got, and stayed up drinking and watching Sex and the City in our pajamas. Perfect. Andy and his friends also went out, they went downtown bar hopping all night...he got VERY drunk and VERY sick. And there was some drama, some of his ******* friends being all macho taking his cell phone away from him, and just being jerks. But its over, and we had fun. So, here's a few pics...

Yay Hillary! I was hoping you'd update before your wedding. Everything is just so perfect!!!! I am freaking out that you are at 11 days-- which means I'm at 17 days!
