Let us remember that the main reason that their platforms are similar is because he basically copied her platform like he copied most of her answers in the debates. He's already publically proven to flip-flop on many issues because of this. This is one of the main reasons many people are jumping on board: they honestly don't know where he stands.
I'm looking forward to the debates. Obama will have to stand on his own and say what he thinks. It should be interesting.

Awww. :dance3:

Pajamasmedia.com ............. :lmao:

Got any other sources like "IMarriedBigFoot.com" or "MyMotherIsAnAlien.com"?

Or maybe "MuldarAndScullySittingInATree.com"? :rotfl2:

Yeah, I'll give you those links as soon as you can prove the information is incorrect. Oh, and since you probably get all of your info from DailyKos...:rotfl2:

Actually, I don't really read the DailyKos. I don't read "PajamasMedia.com" either. :lmao:

Exactly. And considering the flip flopping he's done we haven't got a clue what he truly believes. His support of FISA, combined with his vote to renew the patriot act don't really match up with the notion of a great constitutional scholar in my book.

This is where the debates will be interesting and people will take notes. At least I will.;)

not to mention that Obama currently had the same platform re: staying in Iraq as McCain does. :confused3

You know, since the "Iraq War" was a big "selling point" for him during the primaries.. you'd think he would have attempted to stick with his position on that. Seriously, if most of his positions flip to McCain’s - you might as well vote for the guy with the experience to back it up - McCain.

I know the HS were going to saythat about Michelle. Look at all the footage. About 80% of the peopel in the crowd had that same face. That is what she looks like when she has her mouth closed. She didn't look angry to me. I saw her nod her head in agreement several times.

Disagree, most of the people I saw where smiling, cheering, even had tears in their eyes --- Michelle just sat there bitter looking with some clapping thrown in.

MIchelle reminds me of my MIL so much. My MIL is a very bitter woman and always has that bitter look on her face, no matter what else is going around here. Even at her son's wedding she sat there bitter looking without smiling.
My MIL always blames others for her misgivings and rough spots in her life. I see Michelle Obama the same exact way, very bitter and thinks she got a raw deal in life.

The only difference between my MIL and Michelle is Michelle is now in the spotlight and has opened herself up to criticism to her bitter/angry look. Someone needs to tell Michelle that bitterness is not attractive! ;)

I agree she always looks like that. Even when she is on talk shows she looks like she wants to bite your head off. I do have no doubt that she hates Hillary and that was part of her face added to her normal look.

I do agree that it's now Obama's job to unite the party. Hillary has done all she can and all that she can reasonably be expected to do and now I'd like to see Obama reach out to the HS. I hope that he does and that he does it soon.

As for Michelle Obama's expression, I think that she just looks naturally angry. I've seen that expression a lot and maybe she just needs to learn how to look pleasant on a regular basis now that the cameras are on her so much? I don't doubt that she dislikes Hillary but I doubt that she was consciously trying to show that to the world last night.

Agree again on both statements

I second that sentiment.

Don't you have another thread you can bother people on, LuvDuke?

I want to here Obama say to me " You are right I don't have all the required experience needed to be POTUS...but who really does that has not done it before. But I am a smart man and I promise that I will work day and night to make our economy great again and make peace with our enemy's and make the USA the USA thrive " Something like that. I want to here him humble himself to us. I feel he is to cocky and I feel like he thinks he can do anything just because he is Barack Obama....and that is such a turn off.

If he started giving me some of that than I would listen harder.

By the way I thought the one that had a look on his face was Biden because he new that her speech was great and that he as the VP most likly will not grab us as she did.

After listening to her she has made me think twice about voting for McCain but not any closer to voting for Obama....only he can do that. Why everyone keeps putting the pressure on her is a guess on me. They expect her to be the uniter and bring us around instead of Obama....geesh she is not even the VP.

And if I read that she should have done more last night to kiss Obama but I am going to slap someone. If she had I would have lost all credibility in her speech because we know that there is no love lost between them....some posters say that she should have said that he would make a great POTUS and it was disrespectful for her to not....

but it's not Disrespectful that he did not pick her as his VP :confused3 that's a bigger insult than any she could give out and shows how much he and Michelle do not like her.

I cant get over how many OS are so mad that we are questioning a vote for Obama:confused3 They cant figure out why we are not having the same feelings for him as they. Yet they all dispice Hillary and most would never think of voting for that witch.

But we HS are so bad for not voting for him. I feel such a double standard when reading there posts.

They don't want to get it. WE are not goo goo over the man. They don't get that it is not the issues(when they say his are the same as Hillarys)....it is the man. I don't hate Obama....I just don't trust him and question his judgement . And why does it bother them so much that we don't care for him.

They don't care that we don't/didn't care for any of the other DEM candidates, just Obama even from the beginning. They did not vote in the primaries for Hillary....I don't care that they did not do that....do you :confused3

You're right: they don't get it and they never will. They don't understand that by insulting or bulling us they won't get our vote if we don't give it. They don't understand that just because Hillary said to give Obama our vote he won't get it unless we give it.

We own our votes. Not the OS. Not Obama. Not the DNC. Not even Hillary Clinton.

Some of us may vote for Obama come Nov. I've been bluntly honest for weeks now: I won't be one of them. I haven't waited for 7 years (as soon as I realized my mistake by voting for Bush in 2000) to get Bush out of office only to replace him with the Democrat's version of Bush. It's not Bush's right wing policies that have done this country the most harm - it's the corruption in the administration. Obama is just as corrupt - if not worse - than Bush is.

No matter how many times any of the OS come on this thread and give me crap about what I write or about my decision to vote McCain - I own my vote. Not them. They don't matter to me.

Oh, and Obama’s issues aren’t the same as Hillary’s. Hillary didn’t vote for Chaney’s Energy Bill. Hillary didn’t vote in favor of FISA. But Obama did.

Do we all now?

:rolleyes1

Sorry I'm just arriving to this party. I usually avoid the CB like the plague for obvious reasons but I would like to hear what Hillary supporters have to say. I wasn't a HS at first, but after watching the debates I was sold on her platform. By the time the primary came to Ky, she was pretty much out of the running but I took my 5 year old DD into the booth with me to cast my historic vote with tears in my eyes. I have been at a loss ever since about who I will vote for in the general election. All my friends are diehard Obama supporters and all of my family is die-hard McCain supporters so I have all of them trying to win my vote over. I like Obama but don't trust or respect him. I respect McCain and all of his years of service but feel he is way too far in the opposite direction of how I believe.:confused3 I was really put off by a woman working the Obama booth at the Ky. State Fair last week. First off, we stopped to talk and she stuck an Obama sticker on my 5 year old. I'm sorry but I did not feel that was appropriate. Secondly, I told her that I was still trying to decide and her response was "Don't you want someone who knows what it's like to be poor? McCain has never wanted for anything in his whole life.":scared1: I COULD NOT BELIEVE that an official booth would have someone telling people things like that. I'm sure my mouth was hanging open before I managed to blurt something out along the lines of "Yep. I'm pretty sure those POW's had it cushy in Vietnam." If that's the kind of people who are supporting Obama, I definately do not want to be a part of it.:sad1:

No not all but most at least that is the senses from all the OS here. Many of the OS here on this board say they hate her using many different terms. And for the ones that say they hate her but would still vote for her are only following the party. That IMO is not there vote but the party votes.

My vote is about the person....not the party. I am a DEM because I tend to sway on the DEMS beliefs. But I will never walk blindly to the polls because someone tells me I should. I am looking for the best person to run this country ...not the base. I have never voted down party lines just because I am a DEM and don't plan on starting now.

That's how we get people in the White House like Bush!
