So MSNBC is printing a supposed list of Obama VP choices.

What do you all think?

1. Ret. Gen James Jones
2. Hillary
3. John Kerry
4. John Edwards
5. Evan Bayh
6. Kathleen Sebelius
7. Ted Strickland
8. Mark Warner
9. Tim Kaine
10. Jim Webb
11. Bill Nelson
12. Jack Reed
13. Joe Biden
14. Chris Dodd
15. Tom Daschle
16. Sam Nunn
I want Hillary IF she wants it. John Edwards would be nice but it sounds like he's not interested. Kerry? I doubt it. Biden could be interesting.... I need to look into many of these. Some don't seem to have enough experience.

Where is Richardson? Maybe selling out didn't do him much good.

I am also considering writing in Hillary's name if the other canidates do nothing to impress me before the election.

DId anyone see the (I think Senatore from Ohio) say he would refuse Obama's VP offer. Saying he would not except or serve as VP.

This guy must not be drinking the kool aid.

Yesterday while riding around doing errands, I was listening to Sirius Left.

They were talking about that with the way things are so messed up these day in both parties that come convention ime...it is VERY possible to have 2 new candidates from each party!!!!:scared1:

Anybody hear anything or read anything bout this!

I agree. IMO if he was doing what's best for the party and to win in Nov he would ask her, HOPING she'd say yes. That'd be the surest way to get the votes most of the 18 million who voted for her.

But I'd doubt his ego would allow it. Im sure he would LOVE to show everyone that he can win without her. But it's becoming more obvious that he can't

Yes, the best for the party would be to have Hillary has VP, but I agree Obama's ego probably won't allow it.

I also worry that a lot of Obama's garbage will come out in the election and I don't want him bringing Hillary down with him.

The evil in me thinks let Obama not ask Hillary in the VP spot and let's all sit back and watch him off on his face ;)

Technically she could, but I doubt she'd receive enough write in votes. However I really wish that all the Dems that are considering voting for McCain would do a write in for Hillary instead. It would make a heck of a statement. Without the stink of voting for McCain.

I've done some soul searching and if I am not impressed with the Independent candidate than I think instead of voting for McCain, I will be writing in Hillary's name on the ballot.

If nothing else at least I feel I am making a statement

I think that makes so much more sense. Kind of reminds me of the first time I voted for a president--1980. I couldn't vote for Jimmy Carter or the Republican (and I can't remember who it was, LOL), so I voted for John Anderson. (and independent on the ballot) I knew there was no way he was going to win, but it was my way of showing my displeasure.

Exactly. There is just no way I can bring myself to vote for McCain. He's the opposite of everything I believe in.

But I also cannot vote for Obama. He may say he's for everything I believe in, but I still believe he's incompetent, and a sleazeball to boot. I can't in good conscience vote for him either.

So to me, voting Hillary is the best statement I can hope to make, If enough of us do it, then maybe it will send a message to the Dem party.

Count me in. Unless something drastic happens before November, I am writing in Hillary.

Yeah, this is a strange year. Hard core republicans are unhappy with McCain. And Obama is not the choice of at least 18 million Americans. I can only think with Obama that there is also some voter regret after the news of Rev Wright broke. Maybe it will be an independant year, who knows.

Obama is not the first choice of 18 million Americans. Big difference. Edwards was my first choice. I moved on and will fully support our nominee, Barack Obama!
So will most Democrats..they have more sense then to throw Hillary's platform out the window to pout!

You can keep on beating the "let's all rally behind the party" drumbeat but I'm starting to worry. There's a lot more dissension still going on here and elsewhere than I expected.

That's the thing that makes no sense to me.

Hillary's speech made me consider Obama, and if she got the VP-I just don't know. She deserves more. Everytime I here Obama speak, I think this guy is full of (you know what!) How can I possibly vote for him?
I keep thinking back to Hillary suggesting that she and McCain will bring all this experience to the whitehouse and all Obama will bring to the whitehouse is a speech from 2002. Oh, and he will bring plenty of campaign promises.

This statement, by her, was one reason she lost my respect.

One thing she, and the rest of America, do NOT deserve, is another Republican in the White House and more war, death and destruction.
Additionally, stacking the supreme court with people who will take the rights away from us, our children, and our granddaughters. That, she doesn't deserve.
