I don't know if there is a tape or not BUT I would NOT be surprised if there is one.
Michelle has a lot of race issues and is a very bitter person. It would not surprise me one bit to hear a tape with her doing racist remarks.

But I can hear Obama's excuse right now about it "This is not the Michelle I married" "She is just one of those crazy wives, you know like those crazy uncles" :rotfl:

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

That's so funny, yet I can easily picture it!

Well, my money is on Michelle over Barack. I think she can take him. He better not P*** her off, or she might put an old fashion whupping on him.
If it is true there will be nothing he or she could say that would fix what she said.

Bringing a tape out like that today would only help Hillary and not McCain...
But maybe they are waiting until Hillary is totally out out the race. Like after the convention. It could be really damaging if it is true and on tape. Now if CNN has the tape, we may never see it.
Hay what is your gas prices today...our went up to $4.35 a gallon:eek:   geesh unbelievable :furious: that is for San Diego cheepest gas station mind you ::yes:: could only imagine gas at like the Shell or Mobil stations...UGE
I believe the tape to be true; I've learned of too many specific details of it. The Obama campaign has not denied the rumors of the tape; they've already begun spinning it.

The reason that it is not out yet is because it is not Hillary who has the tape, it is the GOP. They want to use it against Obama in the general election. They will not release it now, create the controversy that it's promised to create, and chance the SD's going for Hillary at the convention. The Republicans do not want to run against Hillary in the general election. They don't think that they have as good of a chance to beat her in the general as they do against Obama.

I can't believe I never heard about this before. I googled it and there is enough out there to tell me something is up.
It looks like President McCain could be a reality.

oil closed up almost $12 higher today at around $139/barrell..... so if gas is still "cheap" in your areas, don't expect it to still be that way tomorrow....

I can only imagine how much everything else is going to go up also.....Bad enough Milk and Bread is a fortune...I went to buy a can of Vegetables yesterday and they were $1. 55 a can...and I almost fainted:faint:

as I walked around the store and looked at the prices I felt like I was shopping for a new car and was going through sticker shock. May have to put the SUV's away and get out the :moped:  :rotfl:

I don't know much about it but it gets brought up here and elsewhere occasionally. I think it's the one where Michelle supposedly says some nasty things but some people believe it's doctored.

I don't put much value in what spouses do or say so I haven't paid much attention to it. But I bet that the Cons will!

They are doing to Michelle what they did to Hillary. I don't like it.

It's a little cheaper in NJ. I got it for $3.89, and in Jersey they pump it for you.

Are they charging you extra to put it on your charge?

I always do that for the convenience - but now some gas stations are charging 9 cents more a gallon to use the credit card! I started paying cash again.....
Who is doing what to whom???? are you talking about the media???
Yes. And the opposition.

Remember how Hillary was initially vilified way back when - and of course, recently........

I don't like attacking the spouses.........

I remember Bill and Hillary on 60 Minutes.......

They also vilified Teresa Kerry too........

I think they vilify anyone who isn't a Stepford Wife........

Interesting poll - of course, one with results that I like! ;)

From Paul Steinhauser
CNN Deputy Political Director

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A majority of Democrats think Barack Obama should select Hillary Clinton as his running mate, according to a new national poll.

Most Democrats think Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, seen in a 2006 photo, should share the ticket.

Fifty-four percent of registered Democrats questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Friday think Obama should name his rival as his running mate; 43 percent disagreed.

The poll is the first national survey conducted since Obama claimed the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday night, at the end of the primary season. Clinton is expected to announce Saturday that she's suspending her campaign and backing her Senate colleague.

Men and women don't see eye-to-eye on the question. Sixty percent of Democratic women said Clinton should be Obama's running mate, but only 46 percent of male Democrats agreed, while 51 percent of them said no.

" 'What do women want?' Sigmund Freud famously asked," said Bill Schneider, CNN senior political analyst. "The answer appears to be Clinton on the ticket. It's pretty clear that many Democratic women are miffed and that Obama has to be very careful how he deals with Sen. Clinton."

Twenty-four percent of those polled said that even if Obama names someone else as his running mate, Clinton should try to override that decision at the Democratic convention in Denver in August. But 75 percent said that would not be a good idea.

"Democrats would like Barack Obama to choose Hillary Clinton as his running mate, but they seem to recognize that it is his choice to make," said Keating Holland CNN polling director. "Some will be disappointed if Obama does not pick Clinton, but not disappointed enough to want a floor fight at the convention."

The survey also found that the economy remains the top issue in the minds of a plurality of Americans.

Forty-two percent of those polled said the economy will be the most important issue in their decision on the presidency. Iraq remains in second place, selected by 24 percent as the most important issue for them, while health care was selected as most important by 12 percent.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll was conducted Wednesday and Thursday, with 921 registered voters, including 435 registered voters who describe themselves as Democrats or independents who lean Democratic. The sampling error for most results is plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.

I agree about attacking spouses from any candidate...but if it is true how do you keep such a thing secret :confused3 mostly with Obamas past and questionable judgement with people that he has been around. So do I think that they should come out with stupid stuff...no...but on some articles I read that I will not post there is much more in the tape than just that one word.

This is the woman that could be first lady.....her opinion is just as important to me as Obamas when it comes to representing this Country. If it shows and is shown to be factual that this woman hates white people I want to know that.... As for the REP vilifying the DEMS is that also not what the DEMS do to the REP....not saying it is right but it is done by both sides...

I am sure that I will not be happy with what both candidates come out with....or the swiftboaters/private citizens....the problem however is trying to figure out what is truth and what is spin....we will have to watch and listen very closely.

I am sure that both party's have there ammunition ready to go...and I dont think it will be a pretty picture. We all have some kind of baggage...and would you not like to know if the girl or boy your son or daughter is dating is doing drugs, is racist, is an alcoholic or has tons of STDs,....I sure would...sometimes there just things we need to know and things we dont and we alone will have to determine what will and wont float our boat...or in this instance sink it.....

I would like to add that If the dirt that comes out is something that should be kept personal...than that is uncalled for. But something like hating a race as in ethnicity than yes I want to know that.:thumbsup2

Interesting poll - of course, one with results that I like! ;)

Would sure like to know how many answered the poll....100, 500, 1,000, 10,000 makes a difference...did they say anywhere? interesting poll to watch over the next few weeks :thumbsup2

Yeah - I think its at the bottom of the article.

Oh I'm sure they'll be polling like crazy over the next few months......

While I want him to pick her - I doubt he will. His fervent supporters are really against it. .....

I dont think he will either...think she needs to go back to the Senate and plan for her race in 4 years. I feel that she is to strong a candidate and had to many votes to be VP...and how many VP have ever became POTUS down the line.....although none of them were as strong a candidate as Hillary is ...

I thought I was a Republican.

YHOOOO HOOOOOOOOO TAG FAIRY...over here!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

So that was what that was about. I heard one report that Obama nearly had Joe pinned against the wall. They had video but I could not see that part. You did see the two of them going off together.

Mary

So much for the great Uniter?

One more very important question. Does anyone else think Michelle Obama looks really mad, all of the time. I swear, she always looks P***** off.

I must admit...that anytime I did see Michelle on TV, I thought she came off as a very nice and down to earth lady.:duck: But they were all fluff peices.:confused3

But some of the things she says in print & on YouTube....

BO did deny the tapes excistence yesterday....Sort of!
