What makes me mad is the inference I see lately that Hillary isn't anyone and shouldn't have run because she's just riding on Bill's coat tails. I never thought of it like that at all! I always saw two intelligent people who both hoped to be in public office and Bill just happened to go first.

Hillary can't catch a break with some people.

For what it's worth, I've never thought that and don't agree with it either. I have always been happy to have two really great candidates to choose from, and would have happily supported her as well if she was the nominee because I do think she is a great candidate, too.

Oh, he'll win it all right. It probably won't be today (unless Hillary concedes tonight as is being reported), but it will be by the end of the week when the Supers need to make their choices.

How will Obama win? With the help of the 17-million Hillary voters. I know that some of you say that you will not support him against McCain and that makes me really sad because first of all ... I'll miss you and secondly ... the country really does need a Democrat in office. The stakes are simply too high to not wear a clothespin into the voting booth and vote Blue.

Something else my mom told me about this and the speculation that she was conceding tonight. The real purpose is to have people believe it so they won't bother to vote for her today.

In losing, the most important thing Clinton has done for her party is that she whipped the young senator from Illinois into shape and got him ready for the big dance. Honestly, the reason Obama vs. Clinton was so close was because both candidates were so incredibly strong and had the passion not only to inspire longtime Democrats who had been lulled to sleep in the last election but fired up record-breaking new Democratic voter registration. The fact of the matter is, McCain barely gets a majority of the Republican base's full support and 25% of the Republican electorate still goes out to vote against McCain in every primary state since he won the nomination. Caucus or no caucus, it's not going to be close...

I also believe that to be true. Some people may change their vote last minute if they believe that it's not going to count as she's dropping out of the race today.

While I agree that the rumor was probably leaked by someone to prevent people from voting for Hillary, I don't blame the media entirely. It must have come from a "reliable source" and I would be curious to know who that was.

While I totally get what you are saying and I even agree with it to a point, I just can not vote for Obama.

I have given him a long/hard look. I have research him and the more I do that the less I feel I can support him (maybe I shouldn't have researched him)
But I can not throw my support behind the man.
I have been tired of the party loyalty thing. If I don't feel safe with WHO I am voting for then that person will not get my vote.

I guess the one good thing this election taught me was party loyalty isn't important, look at how the DNC and even Democrats have treated the Clintons.

I will vote who I feel can lead the Country the safest, right now Obama is at the bottom of my list. I can't give a yes or no to McCain (yet). I am just really hoping a great Independent comes out of the woodworks that I can vote for.

Now if Obama takes Hillary has his running mate? God, I don't know what I would do!!!!! I would have to make a HUGE and HARD decision because it still would not change how I do not feel Obama can keep this Country safe!

WOW that is how I feel exactly that you would think that I wrote it....there ae many of us very very upset. Nor sure but it seems like more of us older woman that have just had enough of this in our lives. Being 50 the inequality for woman starting from when I was a little girl has been terrible.

They talk about Racism being bad well so is gender racism.....and I am so sick of it and this election it was out in full force. This does not mean that I am putting racism aside...it's just that gender inequality never gets the just it deserves and is put aside ...why...because it is a MANS world...no matter what color the man is it is still a mans world and that trumps a woman every time.

And when I hear people and the media say...in so many words that "Yes" there has been gender preference in this Race but so what....and go back to the black racist problems...I want to do this

I started looking at Hillary because of Bill...but that soon faded away as i listened to her....

She is not conceding she is suspending....she is still around in case something happens and they need her. And as for the voting...I feel that that will bring out more voters/woman because of all this and to make a point to the DNC.....

I am looking forward to seeing what she has to say tonight. While I am sad she most likely won't be president, I hope she is interested in being V.P. and I hope Obama picks her, because that's the only way I'd even consider voting for him!
