OMG :scared1: I love the "felt a beckoning of the spirit" more like a spewing of hate from Rev. Wright. Does he think people don't remember exactly who his "spiritual mentor" is?

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Now THATS PANDERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH NO!!!!! HE DIDent did he :sad2:

This is funny too

Obama calls a News reporter "Sweetie" to bypass answering her question!

UMMM that is very patronizing...I would have had to look at him and say ...Excuse me!

Who's talking points threaten riots? I never heard Obama say such a thing.
I don't want to imply that Obama said that! He certainly didn't!

I have just heard the same rhetoric from the radio personalities on both right and left wing talk radio. Rush Limbaugh is trying to get "Operation Chaos" going which he hopes will culminate with riots at the convention in Denver. I have also heard people like Mike Malloy (on the left side of a dial) say the same kind of thing should Hillary win he nomination.

Jack Cafferty also said it last week on CNN:sick:

Just heard breaking news John Edwards is endorsing Obama :sad2:

Got to wonder what is in it for him and why did he wait so long to say ANYTHING!

That's not a huge surprise, IMO. Edwards has been leaning Obama for a while. I don't know why he waited until today, though.

ETA: And why is Obama at a campaign stop in Michigan anyway?

True!

I am suprised by the whole Michigan thing???
:confused3

Popular Vote (w/FL & MI) as of today
Obama 16,680,827 47.6%
Clinton 16,710,298 47.7%

Clinton in the lead by +29,471 (IT'S THAT CLOSE)

As far as riots go...no one was rioting over the War, no one will riot of the elections.

Hillary is ahead in the popular vote. I must make a public statement to Obama asking him to drop out!
--Obama supporters, please take notice that Hillary is ahead in the popular vote. Obama did not win anything yet.

I figured he would when he won NC...cat see him going against NC...that would seem kinda hypocritical if he did. If Hillary came closer to what she did than he may have chose her. After all the voters that she has been getting, the blue collar workers are his voters....and Hillary is the one getting them. So if she would have gotten closer in NC he would n]have gone with her IMO...

He is still going against his voters by going with Obama as for the blue collar voters but he had to go with NC.

This should help Obama with those votes....maybe...unless those voters get mad at him for siding with Obama...:confused3

He's there to make up for fighting so hard to ignore their vote. He chose to take his name off the MI ballot at the last minute for stragic reasons. If he was interested in counting all votes he would have stayed on that ballot whether their delegates were seated or not! Let ALL the votes be counted, right?

Interesting to note the background of his podium is in Grand Rapids is filled with women around Hillary's age. I assume Edwards is there to make sure Hillary's whooping of Obama in W.Virginia is forgotten.

I think the popular vote should be put into context. The stat given in an earlier post if 1 of six possible scenerios, and the only one in which Clinton is ahead.
The other 5 situations show Obama being ahead.

There is only one problem, the nominee is chosen by the delegates, not the popular vote.

Sorry, but she's only "ahead" if you include a state where Obama's name wasn't on the ballot, and - to borrow a phrase I've read here many times - if you "disenfranchise" voters in Iowa, Washington, Nevada, and Maine, where they do not count "popular" votes.

Cor44432 is right. Of 6 possible scenarios (the actual total, the total with Florida, the total with Florida and the caucus states, the total with just the caucus states, the total with Michigan and Florida (but no caucus states), and the total considering all votes, including the caucus states AND Michigan and Florida), she is leading in only one - the one that considers the state that had a ballot without Obama's name on it and without the four caucus states that don't release a popular vote total.
