Oh dear. You mean like making fun of people's typos and spelling errors? :goodvibes

To our friend from the other side, please be nice. This is the Hillary thread. When you come here, you will find statements as to why we think Hillary is best for president. What do you expect to find on a Hillary Thread?

You should really check the DIS Terms of Service. I'm fairly sure personal insults are against the rules.

And I think that you and a couple of others on the Obama thread need to heed that rule before pointing it out on our thread.

.. and before you point out that you aren't calling anyone by name so it's not a 'personal insult' over there - Got Disney didn't call anyone out by name over here.

So, unless you are admitting to being a troll, I wouldn't worry about 'personal insults' over here. ;)

Was just reading the OT and some think we are bad spellers and cant find the spell check :rotfl2: O and we are uneducated non collage posters....they say they cant stand coming over here and reading because of it....

Well i have a masters in Nursing...so since I am so stupid they best be careful that this 22 y.o nurse does not have them as a patient :rotfl2:

Not you Holly, this was meant for our friends from the "other" thread.

Nope...just speaking in general terms and not directed towards any individual poster.

Well then, I guess Obama is just like Hillary.

I still believe she is the better canidate.

Which is peachy-keen with me, honestly. I disagree, but I don't have a problem with anyone choosing Hillary and have said so from the beginning. All I've had a problem with are the over-the-top ridiculous things that have been posted about Obama, and that's usually what gets me posting over here.

I obviously don't think they are "just" alike, but on policy they are pretty close. I tend to disagree with the argument that there is some kind of experience gap between the two, just because Obama has actually been in government longer than Hillary has held any official position. Yes, she probably garnered some experience as a first lady, but she wasn't the one calling the shots back then.

Be nice? :confused3 I simply pointed out that a certain poster's comments were inconsistent, for which I was called a "stinky troll" and told to "know go back into my hole" whatever that means, upon which I pointed out the TOS of this website.

As for what I expect to find over here...I expect to find Hillary supporters and, for the most part, liberals that I agree with on most all things except who we are going to vote for in the primary process. Other than that one point of difference, there really isn't much that separates the two camps, in my honest opinion.

Considering that poster called my that on the Obama thread, I think I'm fairly justified in assuming she was speaking of me.

Could you point out where I've personally insulted someone? I don't believe I have, but if so I will delete the post and apologize. I mean that sincerely.

We're not trying to convince you that Hillary is a better candidate than Obama, but that Obama is a better candidate than McCain. They are very similar on the issues. The argument about experience seems a bit intellectually dishonest because if that was such a big issue, then McCain would be the one supported from the beginning, and not merely as a second choice to Hillary.

I understand that it is both the issues and experience for many of you. But what I cannot understand is why experience is not that big of an issue when comparing Hillary to McCain, but suddenly a huge issue when comparing Obama to McCain. If experience is your big issue, then why are you supporting Hillary in the first place, and if experience is not that big of an issue than why would not considerer voting for Obama when he is right on the issues that you stand for?

Be honest, experience is not your first biggest consideration or you would not be supporting Hillary in the first place. So, all we are asking is to put in perspective when deciding if you can vote for Obama if he gets the nomination.

Yes, I do care deeply that a Democrat is elected be it Hillary or Obama.

I think it is important to point out to all the non believers, that Hillary DOES have some educated supporters. too bad the media hasn't caught on yet.

4 year business degree here from Rutgers!

Ack! You're a Scarlett Knight! No wonder we don't get along...you guys are still mad about that 80-7 beatdown we gave you in football a few years ago.

;)

Your moving ahead to fast. Obama hasn't won yet. We are still in a race. We are hoping Hillary pulls this out and beats Obama.

I also have issues with Obama over Bill Aryes & Rev Wright. It's a matter of trust too.

Hence the term in my post, "IF he gets the nomination." I'm not jumping ahead there have been people on this thread saying for weeks they would not vote for Obama no matter what. It is a topic of discussion.

I never ever called you a TROLL or anything else in the OT and how dare you say I did...:headache: :headache: :headache: I have never called you anything in there....you are a trouble maker and everyone knows it. You come in here with all barrels full and than when you are started to be called out on things you change your tone and try to blame the other posters and try to make sweet....

Your # has been had here so go try your games somewhere else :headache: :headache: :headache:

I actually have no idea what is all said on the Obama thread - with the exception of the last page I peeked at to see what the fuss was about. That page contained insults stating that many of the HS need to use spell check and it’s very hard for you to be able to read over here.

Those are insults, even generalized, so if you would like to go back to your thread and delete those insults – please be my guest.

Back to the fact that I don’t read the Obama thread, I did not know you were called troll over there. I’m going by what was said between you and Got Disney on this thread. That was what my comment referenced.

Everyone needs to stop pointing fingers and get back to the issues.

Did I hear someone compare Obama to Abe Lincoln earlier? I would really like to hear that! I need a good laugh.

I'm sorry, but yes, you most certainly did.

Well than yes I did.....I stand corrected. I remember that know that was when you were taking my posts from other threads and moving them around to other threads and using them to make your point to other posters that were giving you a hard time. You brought me into a thread that I was never even in at that time and i just so happened to go in there and there were my posts...all over the place and used by you in a nasty way.

I got so made that you did that that I lost my temper. I had posters from that thread PMing me because of how you twisted and used my quote. Once i explained they apologized. So that is why I forgot about calling you a TROLL because I was more concerned and upset about what you had done. ..and by the way you than reported me , and i know that was you because the MOD told me and not only did i get points but so did you.

That was not the first time you reported me either.....

I will admit I said I won't vote for Obama. Although experience is part of the reason, the main reason is I DO NOT trust the guy!
I think he is sleaze and a dirty politician who nicely hides his skeletons very well.
They will come out though and when they do; hold on to your hats!

I do not trust that guy as the President of the United States.

Grant it I don't trust many politcians but Obama is a slick one! Sorry he won't get my vote
