Reading the Obama thread dont think ya need to worry about anyone coming together if Hillary gets the nom or becomes VP:rotfl2: They want nothing at all to do with her because they feel she is a lyer a cheat and that she steals money from donations to pocket herself. She is a vulgar person to most over there. Yet for some reason many of them seem to think that it is Hillary tearing the party apart and that if all us Hillary supporters and Hillary would see the light(not meant in the koolaid way) than she would drop out and we would hop on board and the world would be a much happier place.....Like Disneyland:upsidedow

every post to every other post on that thread is an insult about Hillary...I dont mean things like she is unelectable or that she is a bad candidate things like that but mean nasty things that you would not say about people unless they were vial. We say things about Obama but not like he is stupid and stuff like that.

anyway...its there opinions of Hillary and that is fine.:rotfl2: I was just making a point that dont see the supporters coming together that easy. Funny how they also state that its Hillary's voters that will not vote for him...well almost the same percentage said that they would not vote for her.
I do believe there were comments that if Hill was his VP she would off him.

Just for the record, I'd be more than happy to have Clinton as VP should that come to pass. :goodvibes
I will be extremely disappointed if the Dems can't come together and McCain slides into office to further the "accomplishments" of George Bush. :rolleyes1

Yes Lily I know.....and if Hillary were to get the nom I would definitely want Obama :thumbsup2 we just feel that our candidates would be better as POTUS and not VP :goodvibes

The Rep are having a time of it with McCain...they are very upset with him at this time due to his comments being more on the moderate side. The REP are not happy campers either at this point.

McCain is confusing to me. I try to listen to him but he has no power behind him. :confused3 He seems to just muddle along from day to day. so who knows what will happen between the McCain supporters and OS and the Hillary supporters this election.

The hilarious part is that those of us who don't want to vote for Obama are "toxic" But the OS who claim they won't vote for Hillary are doing it because they've got "principles" The level of hypocrisy is ridiculous.

That's why I don't think things are ever going to be repaired between the groups. There are some OS who feel like they don't need the Hillary supporters. They have no interest in healing the divide. Particularly since they see themselves as complete victims and that it's 100% Hillary supporters causing all the problems.
Kiki-you know I've come a long way. I wasn't crazy about Hillary, but if I can finally get the big picture, well, there's hope.
Our country really can't stand another four years of mindless "leadership." I don't care what the little piddly issues are, Bill, pastors, spouses, you name it, it doesn't compare to the need for our country to have a strong leader who's not tied to justifying and defending Bush's mess.

That's exactly how I see him. I also very much worry that if he slips into office he'll be a lame duck from day one. Most staunch republicans really dislike him. He'd be a space filler for 4 years. :scared1:

OMG could you imagine.....if she got the VP and something were to happen to Obama and Hillary was to become the new POTUS it would go around that she offed him because she wanted the POTUS seat and you know the clintons...they will do anything to get elected:scared: :upsidedow

Goodness. I'd hope that our country would be better than that. The comment you're referring to, by the way, was offensive to me. I probably should have come over here and said that. (I know it was put forth by an OS. I don't agree with it, and personally, I wish it hadn't been said.)

I can see him muddling around the White house asking..."Okay where the heck did I leave my toothbrush now" Oh and where the heck is my watch...forgot where I put that also:scared:

The only thing that I do like about him is that when he talks he sounds like Ronald Reagan...I liked Ronald's voice. I also like Arnold's voice...the Cali-fornia Gov..ener...:rotfl2: I voted for him...If when his term is up and he says "I'll be back" I will vote for him again....Go Arnold! I like him as the Govenator :thumbsup2

She ain't going to be his VP.

And he's going to claim victory on May 20th if she gets out or not. Should be interesting. That's a great way to win over her supporters.

So what happens when Hillary wins WV and Kentucky REALLY BIG?

I wish we could stop beating the dead horse. We've all annoyed each other to death this primary season. We have to stop calling each other Obama supporters and Hillary supporters and blaming each other. The bottom line is we have to get it together for November, regardless of who the democratic nominee is and how you feel about that person's supporters.

United we stand, divided, we give McCain the presidency.

I'm afraid he'll get it even if we try to pull together. I don't see Obama getting enough votes to pull it out. Hope I'm wrong. I know my Democratic DH will not vote for him. He's going for McCain. And don't tell me why he shouldn't. He doesn't listen to me when it comes to politics.

No answers, wouldn't dream of telling you what to do.
Aren't you practically perfect in every way? :goodvibes

I'm so glad you noticed. ;)

I don't care if you say what you thnk I should do...just not what I should do to influence him. The more I say, the more he'd dig his heels in. He likes Hillary, but not Obama.

Unfortunately, it probably won't matter. The NC victory pretty much sealed the delegate deal.

SDs can switch at any time prior to the convention vote so nothing is sealed.

True - but it appears that now a bunch of them are experiencing "group think." There's comfort in numbers - and right now a trickle are changing from Hillary to Obama - pretty soon it will be enough of a deluge to turn the tide....

Can you tell its been POURING here all day? ;)
