Well, I won't look for a vast conspiracy just yet but I'll keep my eyes and ears open of course. I HOPE with all my heart that Edwards didn't quit due to some agreement because that would just be too sad. But who knows? Politics is like that.

:magnify: Dont worry! I'll keep ya in the loop!;)

Politics is politics and it is all a game. That is why when the Obama supporters act like Obama is not just another politician I get confused:confused3 O course he is and he is in a game/race as well as everyone else and will do what it takes to get voted even if it is to make his race about Hope and change. That is his political strategy.

I can not see him...one man bringing about the Dems and Rep as one...nope not gonna happen. Water and oil do not mix. In addition I don't want to know all that is going on in the world as he says he will do....tell us everything and be honest about it. That to me is a scary scenario and could scare many people.

For those of you that can remember when we almost had a Atomic bomb dropped on us, could you imagine the panic that would have caused. If Obama says he will tell us all and be honest about what is going on he best watch his words because if he is saying this know and he does not it will be just another politician lye to get elected.

I understand that he wants to change old politics and that is great. But when you are one man with little experience in a big world of OLD way politicians you can be eaten alive. Does he think he is going to go in there and say...Okay men/Woman this is how the new office will be run so you all need to change your ways or your in trouble :confused3 to me they will all laugh in his face.

Does he honestly believe that because he says so that it will happen...does he believe that all the Republicans in congress will turn over a new leaf and listen to a far left Democrat who thinks his issues are so ridiculous and against everything they stand for. :confused3

Can he bring the people together? well he is not doing that great of a job right know is he. I don't see the Rep falling at his feet and there are still are a lot of Hillary supporters that are not falling either. So where is the unity. All I can see is Obama supporters falling at his every word. And they will the ones to come out in all forces rioting if he is not elected. And the SD are aware of this so to avoid this they will run in his direction.

Not because they think he is the greatest but to hold the party together.
That is why there are still so many undecided. They are sitting and waiting to see what happens.

The SD are in such a dilema. Pick Obama and no riots...pick Hillary and there is trouble all over the party. They need to do Fl and MI again and than let all the rocks fall where they may. Than after ALL the people have spoken than as a SD should your decision be made.

If Obama is the rightful winner than the winner he should be. They also need to fix the caucus situation because for white or black candidates it is an unfair system. ALL the people need to be heard not just the ones that can make it out and sit there. Just think of it....in the past they were lucky to get 30-100 people show up and decide that county...what's up with that:confused3

This next general election could have replaced many of the remaining republicans in congress. The Democrats won so many of thier seats 2 years ago. The remaining ones are up for re election now. I do not think it is going to happen now.

The PA primary will be very interesting

Interesting!!!;)
The State Department investigation into how and why the passport files of three presidential candidates were breached is scrutinizing an employee at a Virginia-based company, which is headed by an adviser to Barack Obama’s campaign.

The Washington Times, which broke the news Thursday that Obama’s files were improperly accessed, reported Saturday that the State Department inspector general’s internal probe will include polygraph tests of supervisors to determine whether there was a political motive behind the breaches.

The article said a focal point of the probe will be an employee who works for The Analysis Corporation and is still with the company. The firm is headed by John O. Brennan, an Obama adviser, FOX News confirms. The Times reported he advises the Democratic presidential candidate on intelligence and foreign policy matters.

The Times reported that the employee at TAC is the only individual who accessed both Obama’s and John McCain’s passport information. TAC decided to honor a State Department request to delay firing the consultant to give investigators time to conduct their investigation, the company said.

Two other contract workers were fired from Stanley Inc. after it was discovered they accessed Obama’s files. It could be challenging for the State Department to force them to answer questions, however. Unless they volunteer to cooperate, they would have to be served with a subpoena compelling them to testify before a grand jury.

Obama’s campaign at first questioned whether the senator was targeted for political reasons, but on Friday the State Department revealed Sens. Hillary Clinton and McCain also had their files improperly accessed. The State Department believes the cases could be just a matter of “imprudent curiosity,” but the internal investigation and a separate congressional probe are expected to delve into whether it was anything more.

“There are still many unanswered questions, including why these passport files were accessed and for what purpose,” Obama’s office said in a statement late Friday. “Sen. Obama believes a thorough investigation of these privacy breaches is necessary and expects one that is prompt and thorough.”

A fourth worker tapped into Clinton’s records as part of a training session last summer, the State Department said, and that violation was immediately recognized and the person admonished.

The Justice Department is monitoring the effort.

“None of us wants to have a circumstance in which any American’s passport file is looked at in an unauthorized way,” Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said as she offered apologies to the candidates.

The unauthorized digging into electronic government files on politicians recalled a 1992 case in which a Republican political appointee at the State Department was demoted for searching Bill Clinton’s passport records when Clinton was running against President George H.W. Bush.

Obama’s files were compromised on three occasions — Jan. 9, Feb. 21 and March 14. The department’s internal computer system “flags” certain records, including those of high-profile people, to tip off supervisors when someone tries to view the records without an appropriate reason.

It was not clear whether the employees saw anything other than the basic personal data such as name, citizenship, age, Social Security number and place of birth, which is required when someone fills out a passport application.

The files also include date and place of birth and address at time of application. Agency officials said the files generally would not list countries the person has traveled to.

Attorney General Michael Mukasey said the case has not yet been referred to the Justice Department for investigation, but he did not rule out the possibility of the Justice Department taking an independent look.

Why in the world would an employee of a firm headed by an Obama advisor access Obama's records though? It makes no sense.

BTW, I am in PA and the past 2 days Obama commercial are all over the place. The funny thing is, he shows many pics of his mom and grandparents. None of his wife or kids:confused3 .

He has no tie on, and his sleeves roled up!!!!!!!!! That has always been a HUGE red flag for me. Dont know why, but always when political commercials show a the candidate with no tie & rolled up sleeve...it always made me laugh!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: A very silly move.

I think its an interesting development - to at least prove that it wasn't Hillary (I swear some think she's evil).

My gut is telling me this about three dufus employees doing this on their own....

I work in the healthcare industry and some of my co-workers who used to work for a drug testing lab used to see celeb results or look them up all the time. I don't know whether they went out of their way to do it - but there's got to be a strong curiosity factor there......

Maybe they did it because they could?

Because if all records are looked into it is less conspicuous. If McCain and Hillary's were the only 2 looked into it would automatically point to an Obama adviser.

Is he standing anywhere near a flag?

Obama Michelle.... :lmao: sorry just could not resist.

That was funny.

Did you mean it to be funny?
Yes and he seemed to have about 100 of them on the stage Tuesday during his speech. It's just a campaign cliche. Like DISUNC points out, he's rolling up his sleeves and taking off his tie. That's great, but we're not voting on someone we want to go to the barn and help birth a cow. He's running to be a head of state.

I'm hesitant to post this - but say "we lose" <- which is unfortunately looking likely as the Obama supporters keep repeatedly telling us ....... :rolleyes1

1. How do you think Obama can "heal" the party? For those of us that may not vote for him - is there anything he can do to change your mind?

2. How do you think Obama can unite Democrats and Republicans? Maybe this is why I don't like him so much - Bush promised this - and did the opposite. Now Obama doing the opposite obviously would not annoy me as much as what Bush did..........

IMO he cant and that is one of the things that gets under my crawl....how can anyone say that they can unite Rep and Dems when that is like mixing oil and water. And if his campaign is doing such a great job of this why are we so divided already. Why is not the whole USA running to be on his side of Hope and change.

Cant see it happening but that is not so much a worry to me even though that is one of his main focuses and points to his campaign. There are to many other things that I have a question mark over my head about

But we must keep in mind that he alone does not run the White house...and for all of us with all the candidates that is a good thing. :thumbsup2

:scared1: How dare you!:snooty:
:lmao:

1. How do you think Obama can "heal" the party? ..........
:sad2: But it really isnt his fault. I lay the blame squarely on Howard Dean.

For those of us that may not vote for him - is there anything he can do to change your mind?
What no "1B"

:sad2: The whole lying about the reverend solidified my NO VOTE! I am convinced that he is as crooked as they come.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: NEVER! Especially since Pelosi took over as SOH, her view of "reaching out' is lying down and playing dead. I am not happy with her either. Obama would be the same. The GOP will roll right over them.

ITS NOT OVER

March 22, 2008 3:08 PM

ABC News' Kate Snow and Eloise Harper report: It’s not over.

That’s the message out of the Clinton campaign today.

On a conference call with reporters Saturday, campaign aides responded to an article posted on politico.com that states that “Hillary Rodham Clinton has virtually no chance of winning” the nomination.

The article also quotes an anonymous “important Clinton adviser” as saying privately that Clinton has no more than a ten percent chance of winning her race against Barack Obama.

“Sen. Clinton has been counted out many times in this campaign,” said communications director Howard Wolfson. “The press has on several occasions decided the campaign was over, Sen. Clinton was through. And each time voters decided ... the campaign was not over.”

Wolfson said he had no idea who the unnamed “important Clinton advisor” was, but said that the ten percent comment did not reflect sentiment within the campaign.

POLL: Rasmussen West Virginia

Rasmussen Reports:

West Virginia
Clinton 55, Obama 27

This is an honest question, so please explain: WHY would/should Senator Clinton be willing to step down? As long as she has campaign funds, supporters, is within a reasonable number of delegate difference, I have searched various online sources and can find no valid reason she should be obligated to withdraw. Just thought, as the Senator Clinton supporters you can give this Independent an insight on what the argument is for her withdrawal. TIA.
