Hillary Duff

Anybody seen Hillary Duff on her current concert tour? I have 4 tickets for this Fridays show and was wondering if she has a warm-up act ( her sister?), trying to figure out what time I need to get to the Arena. Thanks.

I just took my kids last night. The ticket said 7:00, but her sister came on around 7:30 and sang for about 20 minutes. Then there was a 15 minutes break before Hillary. She sang for a little over an hour.

Thank you - my 10 year old daughter and friend are really looking forward to it. I'm already anticipating her "can I get a souvenier"? on the way out.

LOL - my kids are only 7 & 4 so they don't know about that part of a concert yet!

I took my 9 yo dd and two of her friends to the show in Worcester Ma on July 20. We had a blast! The crowd was full of tweens and there dancing mothers. Her sister did open for her.
Be prepared to spend some $$ on those souvieners. DD's friends had $20 each and that really wasn't enough for anything..I had to give them a little more. DD's tshirt cost $35!

I'm taking my 8yr old dd and her 11 yr old brother this Sunday. I love it, since it's a Sunday, the concert starts at 6 instead of 7 or 8. I thought that was pretty cool We are all pretty excited, and I know I'll have to buy a t-shirt. At least I only have to buy 1, I don't think my son will ask for a shirt LOL.

We also saw the show in Worcester. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Prior to Haylie Duff playing there was a DJ warming up the crowd, ie...screaming! I give credit to Haylie for performing but she really didn't do anything for me. Hillary Duff really had a good stage presence and was very entertaining. Also love her for the fact that she wears clothing that doesn't reveal tons of skin. JMO

And I have to agree that the souvenirs were crazy expensive. I think the least expensive shirt was about $35. I stuck to my guns--no souvenirs, just memories!

Agreed, that is one of the things I love about her. She looks like a healthy teenage girl. She is not tiny thin, she doesn't have super defined muscles, and she dresses like I might want my teenage daughter to dress. Having a neice who has nearly died several times of anorexia, I love that my dd has someone she likes who looks healthy.

Just a quick report on my opinion. We went last night, and we all had a great time!!! I think it's refreshing to be able to take your kids to a concert and not worry about off color remarks or tasteless outfits. She wore long pants and tennis shoes, and a long loose fitting tank top. Very cute and casual. It was a lot louder than I expected, I think it may have been louder than the Prince concert I went to in June. I know, I'm an adult, but I had just as much fun as the kids!

I'm really debating on taking my kids. They both want to go (even ds!). But it's a school night during the first week of school and we just moved here, so it's a new school for all of us! I really want to and would do it in a heartbeat if it was a Friday or Sat night!

What time does it start where you are? Ours started at 6 (well these AWFUL hip hop guys came out first, so Haylie didn't take the stage until 6:30) and we were out by 8:20, so it really wasn't too late.
