Just back from 4 nights and 5 days at our Happy place! Stayed in Sequoia Lodge between 24th and 28th Oct. Was our first trip with our 15 month old daughter so safe to say different from our usual commando style park days! Will hopefully do a trip report at some stage. A few highs and lows.

Lows

Very few to be honest. Loved the Sequoia Lodge overall but really don't get why there is one small lift to get to the restaurants and way to parks so meant having to wait a while or carrying the stroller down the stairs.

Usual combo of rude, ignorant, smoking guests - although not as bad as has been in the past!

Baby changing in the toilets was poor in general.

VEA not picking up outside 2B so had to walk along a bit to get to bus.

I'm struggling to think of any more to be honest so let's move on to highs!

Highs

I'll never forget standing holding my daughter watching Dreams. Not ashamed to say I had a tear in my eye. So special.

Sequoia Lodge. Was so nice staying on site and room was great. Breakfast worked out fab for us.

Characters. Princess Pavilion trial worked great for us. Met 5 Princesses all of whom were different without much wait. Villains are a personal fav and got to meet tons of them. Were also lucky enough to get a pic with all the 20th train characters together!

Terrorific Night. So good and well done. Tram tour was a bit of a let down and queues were huge for main rides but all good fun.

Rides. Surprised how many we could go in with our daughter. She loved them!

Salon Mickey. Such a nice treat to go into the park and then come and get a seat and relax with a drink later on.

Overall a wonderful trip with our daughter. Can't wait to Look through all our pics!

If anyone has any questions ask away!

Welcome back - sounds like a great trip!! Newport Bay also has the same silly lift - so annoying!

Would love to see your photos :-)

Welcome back, sounds like you had a fab time. Glad to hear the pavillion worked out well:goodvibes

Glad to hear you had a great time I have a question. We are staying at SL for 6 nights in 4 weeks time. When you check in do you have to nominate a breakfast time? I am worried as we are coming from Australia & I am not sure how our body clocks are going to adjust. How exactly does the breakfast timing work? If we have an early time slot can we come later and I thought I read somewhere that as we will be staying for 6 nights we are entitled to a card or something for breakfast that gets us in at anytime. Any advice/help would be appreciated.:confused3

I believe you may get a VIP one so should be fine. Remember to ask about eating in the park as an option as well. We never waited more than 2 mins for breakfast but on the last day when we came out the queue was huge!

The one for EMH was great. Could show up at 9.45 and get one or two sets then wait about 10 mins most inside. I do hope they keep it going but park schedule already has it going back to normal from 31st Oct.
