We've been back for the weekend now and I finally have time for this.

Let's start with the lows shall we? Not many of these.

- Weather
Seriously. I ruined a pair of shoes because of the rain. My precious two-tone brogues. Ah well. My brother bought himself a Nightmare Before Christmas umbrella and I spent the evening of the 5th and the 6th in my running shoes which I fortunately threw in the back of the car last-minute.

- missing people
DB was asking about our DIS-friends from last year. Ah well, another excuse to do another trip.

Highs

- Dreams.
I mean: DREAMS. Dear Lord, that was amazing. DB was standing there with his mouth hanging open. Brilliant, beautiful, amazing, awesome. That's all. :worship:

- Great CM's
Especially the CM's at Peter Pan who not only remembered DB throughout the two days but were absolutely lovely to him. :cool1:

- Amazing character interaction
Talking about great CM's. We had the most lovely Snow White at the Princess Pavillion on the 5th. :goodvibes Language barrier be damned she was amazing with DB. And on the 6th the Acc with Baloo and King Louie was pretty awesome as well. After meeting them she told us to wait 5 mins because Timon and Rafiki would be out. Timon was insanely awesome. I've never seen DB this excited about a character (except maybe Chip 'n Dale but they are his favourites...).

- sociable people
That's the thing with having a disabled card: you wait together with other people with a card and well, you just start chatting. It helps for me to keep sane when DB's in a no-talking mood. Also great to keep up my French... :rotfl2:

A bit of a sad ending because I don't know when we'll be able to go back yet. I'm starting drama college in Cardiff in January... Ah well. We'll see. Living vicariously through you all will have to do for the time being :)

Welcome back, pleased you enjoyed your trip. Thanks for sharing your Highs & lows:goodvibes

Glad you had such a great trip :goodvibes. Sorry to hear about your shoes, it always surprises me how wrecked some leather shoes/boots can get in rain!

We met a lovely Snow White at Auberge when we were there in June (she was English though) - she really made our meal there special as the other princesses weren't really that magical (to be fair I think the language barrier was a bit of an issue as well). My DD2 (4) was just saying yesterday how lovely she had been - so she clearly remembered her without my prompting :goodvibes.

Welcome back :wave2: shame about the weather and your shoes but glad you still had a great time.

Good luck with your move to Cardiff and pixiedust: that you get to go back to DLP soon.

Hi and welcome back :wave2:

I'm so glad you both had a great time. Isn't Dreams amazing! Definitely a reason for you to return before January. :stitch2:

Sorry to hear about your shoes being ruined though, that's so annoying.

Well, we are off on the start of our journey in an hour so I'd better make sure I add wet weather footwear for all of us.

Thanks. We had a great time in spite of the weather.

Well she was English but DB doesn't speak English (well, not enough to actually communicate). She was absolutely lovely.

I'll survive. My mum thinks they're still salvageable so we'll see how it goes... Hehe.

Thank you. I hope so too.

Thanks. It was amazing. Seriously. We didn't get new AP's though because I'm not sure how much we could go back in that year. However DB's been adamant that we meet up with you guys in the future. Hehehe.

I think that might be a smart move. Have a lovely time! :goodvibes

It most definitely is. If I could I'd drive the four hours to Paris again right now just to go see it.
Thank you :)

Armed with good shoes and an umbrella or two there's nothing stopping us! Eheheheheh.
It's the MA Musical Theatre at Royal Welsh College so I think that loving it will most definitely happen. Thanks!

Glad you had a nice trip, shame about the rain.

You will need an umbrella in Cardiff, it's the westest capital city in Europe!
Have fun in my old home town, it's a lovely city with a castle at it's heart and Castell Coch a fairy tale castle just up the road in Tongwynlais. Cardiff has a very nice Disney Store too.

That looks great. I have visited Cardiff Castle though and you could just see it off in the distance. It'll definitely be on my to visit-list.
I really like the city, it's very friendly.
