On Wednesday night we got back from our second trip to DLP this year. We had an amazing time, even more so that we stayed on site and took advantage of EMH!

Highs:
Sequoia Lodge - I could not believe how gorgeous the theming of the hotel was. Check in went smoothly even though my boyfriend printed off the wrong documentation  Breakfast was quiet for 3 of the 4 mornings and the only problem we had was that the key card was a tad temperamental.

Weather - Beautiful throughout our trip, no rain at all and really makes the park look it's best.

Cast Members - Not one bad experience, was really grateful for the CM's attempts at English even if they knew very little. Character interaction was great - Jasmine and Aladdin in the Studios on our 3rd day only had 6 people waiting for pictures.

Dreams - Such an unbelievable show, I could watch it every night.

Queue Times - We found that these were very minimal during our visit, think the most we waited was 15 minutes for Dumbo! I did notice at one stage that Princess Pavilion had a queue time of 120 mins :scared: So felt very sorry for the people queuing for their little girls!

Characters - I mentioned before but we seen so many! To name a few: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald etc., Jasmine and Aladdin, Jack Sparrow, Alice and the Mad Hatter, Gideon, Gepetto, Pinocchio, Gaston, The Evil Queen, Cruella, Remy & Emille, Snow White & Dopey.

Flights - My very first flight and was having a panic before taking off, so glad there was nothing to be worried about!

Annette's Diner - Food was better than expected and service was great.

There were many more highs but I'd be here forever listing them :rotfl:

Lows:

Smoking - I had very few low points but smoking was one of them. I just can't stand having smoke wafted in my face, particularly when my asthma is so bad :crazy2:

I can't even think of any more lows off the top of my head as we really did have a fantastic trip and for £358pp it was unbelievably hard to beat.

Tip for character meet: During the 20th Celebration Train, keep an eye out for where certain characters head off to - we wanted a picture with Mickey this time so went and stood where he does :rotfl: It seemed our waiting there was acknowledged as we were beckoned over for the first photo :goodvibes

Welcome back, glad you enjoyed your trip:)

So .... more flights to DLP to come then :thumbsup2 ???

I'm really pleased to hear so many folk coming back saying they are seeing lots of characters around the parks. In June when we were there last we hardly saw any randomly walking around, it was very noticeable to me compared with previous trips, and it seemed to make the character meets which were available (ie the character train) just an unbelievable mad scrum. I think Disney has listened for once!

Welcome back! :goodvibes Sounds like you had a great trip!!

When's the next one...?!! ;)

In our trip in April there weren't nearly half as many and they all had a scrum of people pushing and shoving so it was really nice to see it calmed down.

If I find a price like that again I'll definitely be going back!
