Well we got back from my fiancee's birthday surprise trip to DLP on Saturday night and we had an amazing time! I will work on a full trip report over the next week but heres a few quick highs and lows from the trip.

Highs:
- Weather for the first 3 days were really nice and warm! A nice change from the UK weather.
- Cleanliness of the park, I found the park to be very clean and didn't see that many smokers for a change!
- Quietness of Wed/Thurs/Fri, the first 2 days were soooo busy it was unreal, but it really quietened down from Wednesday, especially Friday, most things apart from the usual were walk on! and we found that the fast passes were not the far in front, timewise! (usually 30 - 60 minutes in front)
- Dreams!! OMG, Dreams was absolutely amazing! I was simply gobsmacked!
- Planet Hollywood/Rainforst Cafe, we had 2 amazing meals in each of these places! We didn't like Planet the last 3 times we came but we thought we would give it one last chance and I am glad we did!

Lows: There weren't many lows tbh, but heres a few I could think of
- Crowds for Monday/Tuesday, they were horrid! I have never seen the park so busy and it got me really worried for the rest of the week, but thankfully it calmed down a lot from Wednesday onwards.
- Anettes Diner. This is a big one for me as I have always loved Anettes Diner, we ate there twice, and the first time was fine, however we ate for our lunch on Saturday and AFTER we had finished out food, I saw a mouse run across the floor TWICE!!! and so did other people, however some of the french people didn't seemed to bothered about this so I am not sure if its normal for them, but it certainly has put me off!

Well thats it really, highs completely outweight the lows and once again we had an amazing time!! Next stop is WDW for our honeymoon next May :cool1: and then we are hopefully planning a short trip to DLP next September!

Welcome back :goodvibes Sounds like a great trip :thumbsup2

A mouse in Annette's :faint: I'd have been out of there like a shot :rotfl:

Another great experience re Dreams - still tear up when I think about it and that was months ago :)

Thanks for posting, look forward to the trip report ;)

There have been quite a few reports of mice in the village/hotels over the last couple of years. You'd think they'd be able to do something about them.

Perhaps a company famous for a mouse doesn't want to be seen with mousetraps!

:rotfl2: yeah maybe!

I dont know if its enough to put me off eating there again in the future as I do love it but I'm certainly glad it happened at the end of the holiday and not the start!!

Welcome back, glad you enjoyed your trip:goodvibes
