Ive noticed everyone does highs and lows thread when they get back, so here goes
highs:
sequoia lodge, loved it, highly recommended. loved the way they had characters to take pics with every morning.
both parks!!
theres so many highs i cant possibly list everything. the whole trip was just out of this world, and sharing it with such close friends made it very very special.
my biggest low is coming home
a couple of things also, was that we didnt reserve a table on our second night (our first night we ate early so wasnt an issue) so we just didnt think on night 2. didnt make that mistake again!!
we found that the characters and the people in general were much nicer in disneyland park, the people in the studios were much ruder and pushier. whenever we got near a character, the children got pushed away by older children or even parents. we had 5 very patient very polite young girls aged 4-7 and they were so good, they just stood and waited their turn. by the third time of this happening in the studios, they got a little upset but karma seemed to go our way and they met mary poppins who was absolutely amazing with the girls, she took her time and was so nice to them. This experience cheered them up immensley. also, 2 of our girls were "spoken" to by stitch in the stitch show. they were very excited.
we ate at annettes diner, food was fresh and yummy and the girls got lots of freebies. we had breakfast at hunters grill every morn.hunters grill two evenings. annettes diner evening 3, hakuna matata for the kids on day4, adults grabbed a sandwich at Earl of sandwich later, then ate at Restaurant des stars on the last day, also very very nice.
the rides were fab, think we got to go on pretty much everything we wanted bar a couple.
cant wait to go back!!
xx
