Hi All

Has anyone here stayed at the Highland Reserve Villas ?

My family & I are planning a 2 week trip to Orlando in November & have found a deal that is too good to pass up.

Any info would be helpful.

Thanks in advance

Hi, not stayed there but very familiar with the area and HR. This is a golf course community that is owned almost exclusively by folks from the UK. Lots of houses that look like 50 other communities in the area. You are out on highway 27 which is about 20 minutes minimum to the parks with all the new stop lights and construction....BE very very careful turning onto Hwy 27, especially north, as the traffic is busy and fast.

There is a nice small mall area very close on 27, just north. (I think, might be just south. I can see it, been there and I think HR is just south. Either way if is very close to your home!!!) It has a Publix, some fast food, and should meet all your supply needs for the house.

I trust this is a single family dwelling, not a condo, but either will be nice. If you can see the home or pictures, the outsides are all pretty much alike, so just make sure it has the beds you want, the pool is heated to at least 85 degrees, and you know what the cost is with tax, pool heat and any other add ons.

Renting homes is very competitive these days and good deals are around, especially if you stay out on hwy 27 and not just off 192 in some of the closer to Disney developements you see here a lot.

if you do not mind a few extra minutes of driving the deal can be excellent.

FYI, one of our favorite new places to eat is south of you about 4 miles on 27 just a mile past the I-4 exchange. It is called the PUB...green building on the right on 27 just a mile past I-4...fun place with a British flair...excellent Shepherds pie and Fish and Chips along with lots of other good stuff...

Enjoy...Ted

Its a great place to stay. Really nice villas and some of them back onto the golfcourse. As already stated you are quite near to Berry town center which has a publix supermarket, liquor store, pizza, chinese and an Indian Restaurant. A new applebees has just been opened here as well. I actually think you can walk to Berry from Highlands, but not sure

Depending on your owner you may have access to Regal Palms club house etc.

Champions Gate is also close by, which gives you access to I4 and only a miles to the exit to disney. At champions gate there is an italian restaurant, a chillis, another chinese restaurant, a publix, 7-11

Further down the US27 is a great restaurant called mannys chop house, which is busy every night.

:goodvibes If you are happy with the villa and the price then you will certainly have a great vacation here.

I nearly forgot there is also Omni Rosen Hotel at Champions Gate where you can have a really nice meal at Davids club and an a la carte restaurant called Zens. We have eaten at Davids club, but not Zens yet, but have seen a good review of it, so possibly going to try it out in July when we are next out.

Lovely homes - family stayed here:

And there's another one too, but can't find it right now...

Both lovely, overlooking the fairway was fun, and the development is right at the lights...much safer to get out onthe 27 like Ted said:)

Have fun!

And don't forget to write a review when you get home!

Thanks for all the info, it was certainly helpful.

We've now booked, there's 5 of us going & we got it for £404 per person, inc. flights, car hire & insurances & the villa, which from the UK is very cheap.

Can't wait now, gonna be counting down the days til 2nd Nov !!
