Hi. When we travel to DLP in November DD will be 3.5 years so can sit on a regular chair but DS will be just 3.5 months and not sitting up yet. he wont be able to sit in a regular highchair. Has anyone seen those highchairs for young babies at DLP? They are shaped a bit like a car seat, you don't see them at many places.

Otherwise i will need to bring him into restaurants in his pushchair. Will this be allowed do you think?

Thanks for any responses.

Hi Mandy,

I don't remember seeing any young baby highchairs, but the restaurants will be fine about you having the pushchair by the table.

We went in April, and a few times my son was asleep in his pushchair, and the CMs let us push him to the table rather than wake him up to put him in a high chair (he was 16 months then). As your little one is so much littler, they won't expect you to put him in a highchair.

NB From what I remember, Blue Lagoon was hard to naviagte with a pushchair as it had quite a few steps.

HTH,

Sally

PS (Change of subject!) Disney was the most baby friendly place I have ever been to, I can't praise it highly enough. The babycare centre in Main Street was fab. The changing tables were clean and there was space to feed the babies and you could buy food and nappies. I was really impressed. You will find Disney to be sooooo baby friendly. We loved it so much we're going back this December!

Never seen that sort of highchair, which you normally find in Debenhams. Personally, I would use the buggy. We were allowed it when ds was sleeping and it was only when it was busy and he was awake that they asked if we would mind moving it to the buggypark.

AFAIK it is only the high chairs suitable for older babies. As others have said you'll have no bother with buggy. Exception is places like Annette's Diner where the booths do not allow buggies for safety :)
