High tea?

I'm sorry if this is a lame question, but I have been wondering each time it comes up.
What exactly does one do at High Tea? Do they serve danish and etc with tea? Is it dressy? I would love to hear! Thanks in advance

I Managed to get my husband to do this and it was fun. They had finger sandwiches, Tea, pastries and spreads. Because it was served at Palo's I wore a casual dress and my husband wore a polo and khakis. We were amazed at the number of people that didn't show up, as I know they were all sold out, but over half the tables were empty. It was a great, quiet and fun thing to try. I know my husband would do it again.

I agree with Patty! High Tea is a really fun experience and a great, quiet way to relax in the afternoon.

The food (as usual) is great too.

I think all of the empty tables can be a bit misleading. I don't think that they book the entire Palo restaurant for High Tea but instead only use a small portion of the total number of tables.

When we went it seemed like they were using maybe 10 tables max. Although I think only 5 or so were being used at the time.

I have pictures of the high tea fare on my website. There are many varieties of tea, and it is all the loose-leaf variety, which is the BEST. Reminds me of the chamomile tea my grandma used to make. The finger sandwiches are absolutely yummy! There are raisin scones with two types of jam and devonshire cream, as well as eclairs and a parfait. The high tea is one of my all-time favorite experiences on the Magic, although I miss it a bit less know that I've discovered I can get good tea and scones in Celebration.
