High Sierra Brand

Just bought DD a high sierra backpack and I was wanting to know different opinions of this brand. I am not familiar with it.

Where did you find High Sierra? They were a popular brand sold at Mervyn's ages ago. I miss their clothes!

I found it on ebags.com but they have a web site . High Sierra.com. It looks very good esp. for the price. I was just wondering if anyone else knew anything about them.

We have a wheeled duffle bag/backpack thing from that brand that is really nice. I actually found it in a curb pile lol. We brought it to Disney with us and it was great luggage. I would say it's a good brand, but I've only ever had experience with that one item lol.

We have a few of their duffles. I got one way way back at Filene's basement (24 years ago) and we still use it. My middle DS just used it go camping last week in fact. I got DH one of their rolling duffles a couple of years ago and so far so good.

On another note. They also sell them at sierra trading post.

High sierra is a pretty popular brand, also sold at Kohls. I have a couple of the rolling duffles. Good as any.

We bought DD's backpack at Costco 2 years ago and it's held up really well. We also ended up getting the messenger bag style when DD decided backpacks are uncool and bought a new bag. The messenger bag is very sturdy also, but she realized how much easier it is to use a backpack when you're riding a bike so she switched back. I don't anticipate buying her another backpack anytime soon. I was kind of leery when DH came home with the backpack, but it's exceeded my expectations.

3 daughters have this brand of back pack and they are on year 3 and going strong- zippers all still great- before these we had to buy new ones every year. Bought them at Sears in Buffalo, NY!
