As parents, if your high school student was offered the opportunity to spend spring break in WDW, what would you want to in the package? What kind of information or questions would you want answered before you made up your mind? Here is what I have together, but I need your help with questions and answers.

Package Includes: $495.00

• Round trip Deluxe Motor Coach Transportation
• Continental Breakfast on Bus during Travel
• 4 nights stay in AmeriSuites
• 2 meals daily (Breakfast and Dinner) Lunch/snacks on your own.
• 4 day admission to all (4) of Disney’s theme parks (no waterparks)
• Participation into Disney’s Y.E.S. Program
• 4 Day Disney Dinner Vouchers
• Lunch Buffet (CiCi’s Pizza Buffet) as we depart Kissimmee, FL
• 1 Y.E.S. commemorative pin for each student participant

What is the Y.E.S. Program?

Sounds like a reasonable price for what you are getting. I was thinking of doing a Spring Break trip for my DKids when they are seniors, but I'm going, too!

Also would like to know what the Disney Y.E.S. program is. I've never heard of it! Sounds like a good price, but are you sure you want to stay off property? On property gives you the luxury of not having the transportation issues associated with what park everyone wants to go to.

Disney’s Y.E.S. (Youth Education Series) program allows students behind the scenes of Disney Theme Parks to showcase how principles they're learning in the classroom make exciting things happen every day at Walt Disney World Resort. They have a large variety of 2½- to 3½-hour facilitated field study programs is designed to inspire young learners. You must have 10 students in order to participate in the program. Only one program is included in the price. Additional programs are $22.50.

The tickets are super inexpensive. We have 4 day tickets (non hoppers) for $122. This includes taxes!!!! They have meal vouchers and meal coupons (similar to Disney dollars). It’s a great way for students to get to Disney – and learn at the same time!!!

My principal is VERY familiar with Disney. That was the only way he would approve this trip (stay off site and include at least two meals daily). He was not too happy about the possibility of students having access to free transportation back to their rooms at any time. If we stay off site, they can only get to and from the room by bus. :confused3 Go figure teenagers :rotfl2:
