I think that High School Musical really opened alot of doors for Disney Channel. Before HSM, alot of people didn't watch Disney Channel, much less their original movies. I think that because of all the hype of HSM, Disney Channel has been popped back up into the 21st century. Because of HSM, Disney Channel has become extremly prosperous when it comes to viewers. I believe the the production of HSM opened alot of doors for not only Disney Channel, but all of the actors in HSM, and the honorable Kenny Ortega.

I guess you could say that. I've actually noticed myself watching the Disney Channel more.. But I think that may just be me missing the magic of Walt Disney World.​

i hate it, i mean i love the songs cos they're really catchy but the actors/actresses just mime, none of them actually sing!! I don't think there's any talented actors/actresses in that movie, I mean everyone can mime, it's not that difficult!!

i love high school musical but why didnt it show the musical it just showed the auditions but it still is the best dcom movie yet :] and the only dcom movie i own besides double teamed
