High School Musical Pep Rally

Does anyone know if this is actually still on?

It's still listed on the offical WDW site but on Simon V's askdaisy site (I've just requested an itinerary), it says that it's to be moved from the Magic Kingdom, possibly to disappear altogether.

At the insistence of my 6 year old it's on our must-do list!

I hope that it's still on, I have two DDs who are going to very diasappointed if it isn't!

I was really hoping, probably naively so, that this would be around until we go in 2008 as the kids going with us love HSM!

Yes it still on, its in tomorrowland, between Galaxy Theatre and Space Mountain

The High School Musical Pep Rally in the Magic Kingdom is rumored to be coming to the Disney-MGM Studios in January 2007 at the earliest. The pep rally would be upgraded to be more like the version in Disneyland.

Suppose MGM is a more fitting stage for a film attraction

Fingers crossed it's stll there in Sept/Oct 2008

If they move it, lets hope it has an indoor stage, the number of times it got cancelled this year for a few spots of rain on stage.

It is definitely still at MK this week, but Disney's PR people insist it will be moving to Disney-MGM Studios in the very near future.

On the basis that there are planning a High School Musical 2 & 3 I suspect Disney are hoping that this will keep the teens and tweens for a little while

Hope they do keep the show as it was so much fun to get a dance tutorial and see the enthusiasm and excitement from all the kids. get there early to get at the front as the performers will interact with the kids down the front and come off stage to dance with them.

For all of you planning trips - the new show is to open at MGM on January 22. It's actually an expanded version, with more songs, staged on a float as it is in Disneyland. It actually has been VERY popular at the MK and I think they'd like to have some of that traffic at MGM - plus it actually works better there with the movie theme.
