Hi. Is anyone else going to High School Musical On Ice in Hamilton today? Sister inlaw was able to get tickets so I am going, just to do a daughter and mom thing on March Break. Even though Dd is 15.

Hi. Just got back from the show.We sat second from the top WOW that was high up but we could see everything. I wish I could see the actors up close, but from our seat I swear that was the real Zac E.
Beware, everything is exspensive. eg. Candy Floss with a plastic hat $10.00.
If your watching your money and have smaller children, go to a Dollar store first and buy treats. The lady behind us brought glow sticks from the Dollar store. I am glad that DD is 15 and just loved just watching the show.
Anyway the show was great, but now the songs are stuck in my head.

Thanks for the review. We will take some glow sticks - good idea. We will bring our own treats.

Glad you had a good time.

We are going tomorrow night. How long is the show?
Great idea on the dollar store treats! Thanks:)

We went to see it in Winnipeg, we had a great time! I agree that the souvies were really pricey though. I think my DH paid $34 for a tshirt for DD. It was the one that had the rhinestones on it. And the light up wand was $18!! Crazy prices! The show is about and hour and a half with a 15 minute intermission. The first half is HSM, and the second half is HSM2...HTH anymore questions, just ask!!

going this weekend too, and have front row seats :cool1: .

Can you forwarn me what type of souvenirs they have and prices.
I will take pics so if anyone needs them i can email later.

It's all my DD (6) has talked about this morning!!:yay:
She went last night with my wife....I've had to help her with her activity book, watch her replay the songs and moves...Now she want to be a figure skater!:scared:

Oh no Davey! I hadn't even thought about after the show!! Two 10 yr old girls that could recite both movies backwards and forwards... I'm in for a fun drive home:headache:
And those souvenier prices ..ACK!!!:scared1:

Way to go on the front row seats!! :woohoo: At the show here they asked a girl to help say something into the mic!

As for souvies, they have: T-Shirts which are $30-35, a polar fleece zip sweater that was $45. Cheerleader teddybear, cheerleader dress up outfit. Light up wands $16-18. HSM barbie style dolls, hats, cups, sunglass type things with a headset microphone attached to it, activity books....that is all I can think of right now, I will try to think of more, but I think I pretty much got them all. Sorry I couldn't remember all the prices, but they are all fairly pricey that is for sure!

Have fun!!:goodvibes

Returned and we did not buy any souvenirs. Overpriced and not much there. Show was good, but i did not have the "Disney" feeling from the other character ice shows from the past. Did get some good pics at first but then got blasted for taking pics with my DSLR?? Not sure why but was asked to put it away?? I did not use the flash but that did not matter. Everyone around me was taking photos with flash. So not really sure what was up with that> :confused3
