High School marching band performing in DL in October

Hello, experts!
My nephew's marching band will be marching in DL in mid-October. I am trying to learn what such an event might look like at that time. All we have is the date (October 19th). I don't go often enough to have a good pulse on the normal course of events especially at Halloweentime... can anyone provide any historical information on what this might look like? I am not sure if there is a regular daytime parade for Halloween or not... or how a high school marching band might fit in to the normal course of events.

I think it happens a short time before the afternoon parade. I've seen some while I was waiting for the parade to start.

My educated guess is that it could be either before the afternoon parade or even before the parade that used to be before 7:00 (I don't know if it still is). When my son was there with the Disneyland All American Band the year of the 50th anniversary, they played before the 7:00 parade. If you go, be sure to take lots of pictures and have lots of tissues. I still cry at marching bands at Disney, even if my kids aren't there. It's a memory he won't forget.
