Hi! I was reading a trip report today that mentioned that the Jazz Kitchen did not have highchairs. I never even thought about this, and just assumed that the restaurants would have them with all of the kids around. :confused3

We will be going with a 25 month old and an 13 month old. I need to have a place to set them otherwise neither my DH or I will not get to eat!

So, do some of the restaurants have highchairs? Can you take your stroller in if not?

I guess if there are no highchairs we will be eating at Mimi's and CS alot. :guilty:

good question...being that it is DL, i would think that they would have highchairs. we ate at the golden horseshoe when we were there last saturday and they had 1 available highchair, so i snagged it for dd2 and left dd8months in the stroller. i didn't bother looking around for other kids in highchairs though.

maybe you can call the disney dining number and ask them to see if the on-site restaurants have highchairs?! good luck!

Blue Bayou did in Sept '07, Storytellers did in Dec '07.

I don't remember having a problem with highchairs, including Rainforest Cafe, but we did NOT eat at Jazz Kitchen.

Jazz Kitchen definitely has highchairs. We used one in August. It is industry standard for all restaurants to have a highchair or more. The only places that don't are bars and places that really don't intend to cater to kids or families.

You even find highchairs at the Napa Rose and Steakhouse 55.

We also were at the Jazz Kitchen recently (sept) and they had high chairs.

yep, we had dinner at rainforest cafe and had 2 highchairs at our table for our 2 dds! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much! :thumbsup2 You've set my mind at ease. Now, it will just be an issue of whether one is available or not. I wonder if you can request one when you make your PS or if it would even make a difference. :confused3

When you do your priority seating, they will take the ages of the kids. That gives them the info they need for the highchair allotment.

You should not have a prob with the highchair situation, even if you don't make a PS, but I would. Last week we ate at Napa Rose, Jazz Kitchen, House of Blues, BB, Whitewater Snacks, Storyteller's and Ariel's and every place had an abundance of high chairs and boosters. Now, getting the two year old to sit in said high chair, that's a whole 'nother story!!!!!!!

we had no issues getting the high chair we needed in all restaurants in DL. They seemed to have TONS!
