HIFS vs. Vistana Resort

After reading many posts I checked out the VV (it was sold out) but the Vistana Resort was available for a total of about $300 more for our 6 nights. I booked it, but am wondering if anyone can tell me if it is definitely worth the extra $300. We stayed at the HIFS last year and our kids (ages, 12,10,5) loved it. But the Vistana sounded so much nicer after reading all the posts, so I checked it out. My MIL wanted the HIFS which also includes breakfasts that we won't get at the Resort, but it sounds so much bigger and much more room. Looking for opinions as we need to make our decision by tomorrow. Thanks all!

FYI- The HIFS has senior rates from $89 night for the suites. If you MIL is coming, she could get this real good rate!!! Just thought I's let you know.
