Sure--you'll love it. First off, the kidsuites have a separate bedroom for the kids--we chose the king kidsuite, which had a bunk bed in the kids room. So, we could put the kids to bed and still have some 'adult' time to unwind, enjoy a beverage and watch TV. The rooms also have a separate living room and kitchen area, which allowed us to bring food from the nearby Publix for snacktimes. The pool is great--very big with lots for the kids to do. Most of all, the service is great--during our trip, one of my children and my wife both got sick--the staff knew about it, and sent up flowers for my wife and a beanie baby, candy and arcade tokens for my daughter. All in all, it is definitely a place that caters to families with children first. Both of my daughters consider the hotel to be a key part of the Disney experience--this was our 4th stay there and I don't think I'd stay anywhere else.
We did not use the shuttles, as we did rent a car (the first few days of our stay were spent with my inlaws in St. Augustine, so we needed the car). From what I've heard, though, the shuttles are convenient. Transportation is provided in a large bus, not a small cramped van.
If there's anything else I can answer for you, just let me know.
And, if anyone out there wants pizza coupons, please let me know as well.
