HIFS or Wyndham Palms

Hi,
Right now we are debating between the HIFS or the Wyndham Palms Resort and Country Club. There will be 8 of us (6 adults and 2 kids - 6 & 7).

We're looking into the 3 BR suite at HIFS for $260 per night or a 3 BR at Wyndham Palms for $179 per night. I figure the costs wouldn't be that different by the time we figure that we will all get free breakfasts at the HIFS. At least not enough of a difference that I want that to be my deciding factor.

Anyway, which do you think would be better for our situation. We want nice pools and rooms.

I would pick Wyndham Palms over HIFS if the new water park/play area will be open by then. WP has a bear bones free breakfast at their main pool, and it's newer than HIFS. If the new water area is not open, you may have to drive to the pool or call for one of their golf carts.

Can you tell me more about the new water park?

We stayed there in December and enjoyed our rooms very much. Lots of space. I prefer Vistana Villages, but we had a great deal at Wyndham Palms. It is more luxurious than HIFS, and a lot more room. We did not even look at the pools and mini-golf when we were there, but I have to assume the mini golf would be better than HIFS.
