HIFS offering free adult dinners

I just got this email from HIFS, if anyone is interested:

Stay with us between 5/1/03-9/7/03 and enjoy dinner every night of your stay - up to a $24 value per night, $12 per person maximum. And as always, up to 4 kids age 12 and under Eat Free! Don't forget that all our guests also receive a Free Hot American Breakfast Buffet Daily!

"In order to make your Dinner's On Us reservations, first visit http://www.holiday-inn.com/freedinner and printout your Dinner's On Us Certificate. This certificate must be presented to the front desk upon check-in. Then call the hotel direct at 1-800-607-6907 and ask to book the Dinner's On Us promotional rate."

*I just replied to another post that I didn't think the dinner buffet was very good, but that is JMHO, so take it for what it's worth.

The dinner rate is $139 a night. The entertainment book rate is $86 a night. You would do better with the entertainment book and you would have more flexiblity.

Hi. This is my first post, but I saw all of the info about HIFS and the Entertainment rates of $86. We made reservations for June 21-29 and got the Ent. rate of $99.50. I was happy with that, but did anyone get that $86 rate for June??

Congratulations on your first post. The entertainment rate is 50% off the rack rate for whatever time you're going. If you go to their website you can see what the rack rate is for the different dates. I doubt if there are any lower rates for June, as it's peak season. The $86 rate is probably for another month (regular season?), and I got $73 for early Oct., which is their lowest season. $99.50 is still a great rate, and well worth it, IMHO. You will save tons of money on food and have a lot of fun, too. Feel free to ask any questions re: HIFS; there is lots of experience here on the DIS!

Update: I just checked the website myself. The $172 rack rate (86 Entertainment rate) is good up to June 7th, the higher rate starts on the 8th.

I got the $86 for May 29-June 1 for the beginning of our trip.

Has anyone compared the Entertainment rate to a Great Rate? You have to ask for a Great Rate, and there is limited space alloted, but it's open to everyone.
