HIFS & lottery discount

Mary from Mousesavers has posted that this discount is only available to Florida residents. When I booked for this rate they took my address, so they know I do not live in Florida. I even double checked what I needed to do and was told to just present 1 non winning ticket at check in. I remember asking, "that's it?"

Anyone else in the same situation? Has anyone already stayed using this discount that is not a Florida resident?

We went in April, handed a non-winning tix at check-in and had no problem. Only thing I can think is Hotel Promo may change at any time like Disney has a discount for FLA. Res. only which I couldn't get using the Mousesaver disc. codes. and subject to availablity.
Suggest if possible get a res. confirmation in writing. also check out the FLA Lottery website.,
still $129/night is better that Disney and check out the 2002-2003 rates for WDW, YIPPES!!!!!!!!

We are booked in October for the lottery price. We called and made reservations about a month ago. We recently took my Mom and checked out HIFS and loved it!!! We were able to get a senior rate with Mom of $109.00 per night. We also purchased our "Play Florida USA" lottery ticket while there to use in October when we go without Mom.

That rate is for anyone presenting a non-winning FLA-USA lottery ticket. State of residence is irrelevent.
