Hey kathy ~ Sorry but I really didn't check the west track pool out. There didn't seem to be too much work going on while we were there. I think they were working on the rooms more.

If you are staying at HIFS and only going to and from WDW, do you need to rent a car or is the shuttle bus system good enough?

tombob - the shuttle was one of the clinchers for me to book this place. Never been here, but the shuttles, breakfast, larger rooms and a great rate were items we looked at. After reading these boards over the past few months, especially the transportation board, I've decided we'll get a mid or full size car, based simply on the economics.

$29/each way per person = $290 for my immedate family. That easily pays for the car. Plus we're doing MNSSHP one night (no shuttles at midnight). The older girls and I can get up early, shuttle on over and go "commando" for a while, while DH and younger daughter can take their time and catch up.

Again, I have no experience here, just high hopes.
